Their legs ambled along the long hallway, advancing toward the next exhibit under the museum glimmering lights. They lingered around and read a gold placard full of information, while discussing the Korean war.
Ling Yun shared what he read in history books about the Korean war, and Liu listened with great interest. A sudden feeling of someone staring at their direction cut his concentration short. He turned his head, looking around until he was met with a smiley face of an enthusiastic excited girl. Her figure slim, her head tilting slightly from side to side, and her lengthy raven-shade hair waved along with the movements of her body. Her beady eyes fixated on Ling Yun, insisting not to leave him for a second.
"Ammm... Colonel, there is a beautiful girl staring at you."
Ling Yun lifted his gaze from the placard, taking a glimpse at the direction Liu pointed. His listless expression immediately changed. Turning all kinds of surprised and happy.
"Park Shon Nu?"
"링윤 오빠."(Ling Yun Oopa.)
She galloped toward them, wearing the brightest smile. She jumped on Ling Yun, wrapping her slim body around his muscular one. "Oopa when did you land here? Why didn't you call me?"
"I landed yesterday, and I am here for a month. I thought you are still in Japan." He hugged her back. For a moment there the two forgot about the existence of a third person in their vicinity. Liu gawked at them like a gorilla who encountered humans for the first time. What the hell is happening? Aren't they being a bit too touchy with each other? Does Gu Yang know about this? He cleared his throat. Extracting a loud sound in the process, diverting Ling Yun's attention back to him.
"Captain Chong. Let me introduce you two, this is my friend Park Shon Nu. Shon Nuya this is Liu Chong, a Captain in my unit."
"Nice to meet you." She extended her hand to him, grinning. Her flirtatious movements gave away her intentions. Yelling to all living creatures in her proximity how massive is the crush she has on the muscular man beside her.
He shook her hand and forced on a faint smile. Whatever he needs to do in order to escape this uncomfortable situation. Five more minutes and he would start feeling like he was the one doing the dirty behind Gu Yang's back. And if there was one thing in the world he never wished to experience ever again. It was the wrath of a Gu.
The girl turned her back to him. Disregarding his presence. Whether he was comfortable in this situation or not did not seem to bother her in the slightest. Her slim fingers traveled on Ling Yun's collar. "My work project ended sooner than I expected so I came back early."
"How did the project go?"
"It was great. It was so successful. All because of your advices. Oopa let's go to a café and catch up."
It was the first time Liu heard his Colonel's voice turn as soft as a feather pillow. "I can't now beautiful. I am here with my boyfriend and a few other friends. Text me later and we will set up a date."
She contorted her mouth to the side, sulking. But then a tenacious fire ignited in her beady eyes. She heightened herself and stood on her toes. She whispered something in Ling Yun's ear with a seductive grin on, and only after he nodded. She left, pleased.
The itching feeling of discomfort and uneasiness swooped in Liu's body and took control. He began pulling on his clothes, and scratching the back of his head. Shifting here and shifting there. Should he say something? Should he keep quiet? He kept on wondering how intimate those two were, and how bad was the idea to comment something on it. fortunately for him. A shout from sixteen feet away saved him from making a decision.
