"Mother Miranda I must insist the meeting take place even without the presence of that foolish girl." Alcina Dimestrescu sat frustrated on her tall chair, facing her was Heisenberg sat legs spread on his bench, Moreau to his right, while Donna was to the Right of Alcina. Mother Miranda stood at the head of the group.

"Alcina." Mother Miranda addressed the woman sternly. "She won't disobey direct orders to meet so I suggest you watch how you speak." With the words of her superior Alcina stayed quiet.

"Listen to Mommy." A voice echoed tauntingly in the abandoned building. "Must behave yourself Alcina," Elizabeth added as she came into the light, she was adorned in a worn-down blue outfit, feathers on her sleeves, she didn't get dressed up very often but she decided to make an effort for some reason this time.

"Elizabeth, do join us." Miranda greeted and the woman nodded in acknowledgement and walked to the head of the group to take her seat next to Miranda, Moreau's grotesque self stood to the right of her, the smell of fish potent around him.

Alcina coughed for everyone's attention as she arose from her chair.

"Now that everyone is here." She shot a look at Elizabeth. "I'd like to announce that it is my dear, precious daughter's birthday in the upcoming fortnight, and I have planned a marvellous event to celebrate the occasion."

Heisenberg snorted from his bench, causing the immensely larger woman to cast her gaze upon him in a menacing manner.
"Something to say, child?" Alcina spat.

"Absolutely nothing you big bitch." Heisenberg mumbled, settling further into his seat.

"As I was saying, all are invited, and Elizabeth?"

Her head perked up at the mention of her name.

"Yes?"

"I invite you to bring all your staff with you, I want my castle to be bursting at its foundations with the number of people there."

"Of course Alcina." Elizabeth nodded and the woman continued. Her eyes scanned the room observing everyone until her gaze landed on him, he hadn't glanced her way since she entered, acting as if their encounter last night didn't happen, which was obviously a smart thing to do considering what the topic of conversation was.

"Thank you for that Alcina I'm sure all will attend." Miranda thanked, pulling Elizabeth back into the moment and stopping staring at the silver-haired man.

"Now, moving onto more General matters, how are things with the people, and have any of you made any more progress with the Cadous I have given you."

Those fucking Cadous, Elizabeth's was stashed in her basement along with her experiments, she wasn't proud of them, but she had to survive, and sometimes to survive you have to do shitty things. One thing the woman refused to do though, was to experiment on the young, she only worked on the elderly, she didn't want a child to endure what she herself had to when Miranda took her when she was only young all those years ago.

"I haven't had any test subjects for a while," Elizabeth confessed, crossing her legs over one another as Miranda turned to look at her, she gave her a nod and then looked over to Moreau.

"I-I'm- I'm sorry mother." The creature almost wept as he confessed his consistent failure. Miranda said nothing and turned to the next one.

"More lycans." Heisenberg said simply, but Elizabeth knew he wasn't only doing experiments for Miranda.

"I've been occupied with my daughters Mother Miranda, you know how daughters are when they get that age-." Alcina's sentence was cut off as Miranda emerged her wings in rage.

"No Alcina! I do not know because none of you can produce a worthy enough vessel for me to bring my Eva back! You are all dismissed."

Elizabeth was shocked at Miranda's outburst, it was the last thing she expected to happen today, she understood that Miranda felt pain for the loss of her child but that was no excuse for her actions.

The five silently stood up and exited the building.

"Well, that was quick." Elizabeth joked to the other Lords who didn't so much as give her a sideways glance as they went their own ways, all fearful of the possibility that Miranda might do something now that she was mad.
She took no notice of the others and untied Sebastian from a nearby post.

"Nice horse." A voice came from behind her and naturally, she knew who it was.

"He's a present from me to me." Elizabeth responded, hopping up onto the large horse.

"Can't argue with that." Heisenberg chuckled as he watched the woman.

"Fancy a ride home?" She offered much to the man's surprise. He took a moment before answering but eventually came to a decision, placing his hammer in the cart, mindful not to squish any of the food back there.

"Hungry?" He questioned as he looked at the contents of the cart. "It's not all for me dumbass." Heisenberg wouldn't be surprised if it was for her, that woman could put away food like it was no one's business.

"If you say so."

Elizabeth looked at him in confusion as he looked at her to shuffle back so that he could sit up front of the horse.

"I think not, backseat you go." It was clear he wasn't happy with that answer but nonetheless he hopped onto the back of the horse.

"May I?" He asked, referring to holding onto her for the ride.

What a gentleman for asking." Elizabeth laughed earning somewhat of a glare from the man. "Go ahead." She approved and his hands slid around her waist, falling off the horse would be something he knew she wouldn't let him live down so he couldn't take any chances.
"Let's go 'my lord' "A snap of the reins accompanied her mockery as the two set off.
