"Elizabeth what's going on!" Patrice asked panicked as she saw the Lord burst into the castle in a rush.

"Everything is going to shit Patrice! Is everyone packed?" She yelled to the woman as she made a B-line for her basement, the flask held tightly to her chest as she descended the old cobbled steps deep underground. It had been a while since she had been down there, abandoned experiments and equipment lay scattered across the ground, and on her desk lay the Cadou.
Patrice followed quickly behind her mistress, well as quickly as she could.

"They're all packed ma'am" Patrice confirmed, she didn't know what was going on but she had never seen Elizabeth this panicked before.

"Good, I can't explain what's going on I don't have a lot of time, I just need to make sure you all survive." Placing the flask down on her desk she then moved a very large wooden wardrobe.
"This is going to come in handy." It was armour, her family's armour, the crest of Claydon embellished onto the metal shoulder plate, along with that was a large compound bow, a very effective weapon and a weapon that would definitely be needed.
The two went back upstairs as soon as Elizabeth made sure the Flask was secure, she wanted Ethan to have it, but she didn't want to leave it without protection.
As they entered the main hall a servant came rushing in, sweat dripping down his forehead as he ushered Elizabeth to get up to the top of the Castle.

What she saw was beyond comprehension.

Castle Dimestrescu came into view and there was some mysterious flying beast circling one of the towers, attacking something every so often.
"Get me a telescope!" Elizabeth demanded, not taking her eyes off of the madness, that creature had to be Alcina, each of the Lords had a type of final form, all except Donna for some reason, there was an occasion that the Lords discussed their forms at a meeting with Miranda, but no one had seen the others form, until now.
Elizabeth held her hand out and accepted the telescope from the servant, holding it to her eye as she aimed it at Castle Dimitrescu. From the telescope, she was able to see that on top of the creature there was a figure, an inhuman figure but she knew it was Alcina. Elizabeth watched as Ethan took shot after shot at the beast, aiming for Alcina at the top, it was a long and gruesome fight, and Elizabeth's heart dropped as she saw Alcina take a final grab at Ethan as the floor collapsed beneath them, pulling them both down and out of sight.

"Fuck." Elizabeth cursed, throwing the telescope to the side, she didn't know who was dead, was it Alcina? Ethan? Both?
The thought of who died played on her mind until something occurred to her...Alcina wouldn't take on Ethan herself unless...No it can't be, they couldn't be dead, the three girls that Elizabeth considered her nieces, they were dead, they had to be for Ethan to have been alive to fight Alcinas final mutated form.

The lord continued to help the residents of her Castle pack up everything it was mostly done, well, except for two rooms.
Her parents and Eli's.
The late brothers' room didn't have much in it, he was a minimalistic boy, only keeping a few possessions, Elizabeth was careful as she looked amongst his room for any valuables to take with her in their evacuation of the village. She found old toys from when they were younger, wooden figures and such, nothing special, but then she spotted it, his cap. Now Eli used to think of himself as a rather distinguished gentleman, so much so that he convinced his father to buy him a flat cap, just a plain black one but he wore it everywhere. Elizabeth grabbed it and placed it in the box she had brought with her.
Her parents' room, now there was one thing she knew she wanted, the portrait, she refused to leave without it, so she took it upon herself to stand on her mothers' vanity stool and grab the picture down from the wall, placing it in the box, she already had all her mothers clothes and things, plus a few of her fathers' jackets so nothing else was needed from the bedroom. She took one long last look at it before she closed the door slowly behind her.

She let out a breath she didn't even realise she was holding in and went towards the main hall where the rest of the stuff was, ready to be loaded into the carriages at a moment's notice, all of her staff was there and they watched her intently as their Lady walked into the room and placed the box in her hands down.

"I know you're scared." Were the first words, "everything is going crazy out there and I know it's scary, but nothing is going to happen to you, I'll make sure of it." Elizabeth's voice was sure and comforting, the protective nature of the woman coming through, it eased the people's fear, but only slightly as there were still a lot of unanswered questions.

Ringing began to echo through the hall and everyone's eyes turned to it.

Elizabeth made her way over to it and placed it to her ear.

"Hello?"

"Alcinas Dead."

It was Heisenberg.

Elizabeth nearly dropped the receiver, she had hopes for Ethan to survive his battle with Alcina but a part of her doubted it.
"Miranda told me to inform you about it, he's going after the flasks, if I'm right he's probably going after the key that will open the gate towards Donna's territory."

"Once he has all flasks Miranda is done for." Elizabeth breathed out with a smile, it was nearly time.

"Exactly, now we just have to hope Mr Winters can survive Donna."

Elizabeth knew that for Ethan to survive Donna and Angie and get the Flask he'd have to kill them, she didn't want them to die, but it was for the greater good, so Miranda didn't become an unstoppable force and so that She and Karl could have the lives they always wanted.
