The storm from the previous night hadn't caused much damage to the surrounding area, possibly a few fallen trees at most but nothing too serious thank heavens.
Elizabeth arose from her bed, noticing she was still adorned in yesterday's garments and quickly stripped them off, tossing them on the floor somewhere before going to look out the window, relief washing over her as the sky was bright and everything looked fine, a perfect day for a ride.
She knew that Sebastian was used to a lot of work and breaking that cycle might be too much of a shock to the animal, so Elizabeth decided that she'd replace the work with riding out into the woods, a change in scenery would probably be good for the poor workhorse, he was far too magnificent to be kept in a stable for show.
The door opened as Elizabeth was changing, "Don't even think about going anywhere without breakfast my lady." Patrice's stern voice entered the room as she held a tray, placed upon it was what looked to be tea and scones. It was as if Elizabeth's stomach sensed the food and it started to grumble.
"Place it on the bed I'll grab some in a second," Elizabeth instructed as she continued getting dressed, a simple look again, consisting of aknee-lengthhskirtt and a vest that was then covered up by a jumper.
"Have you seen my boots?" Elizabeth inquired as she walked over to stuff her breakfast in her mouth.
Patrice rolled her eyes at the question, simply walking over to the door and grabbing them from the side of it, the same place she always put them.
"O,h you're alifesaverr." The words were muffled by the sound of food but Patrice accepted the compliment nonetheless and started tidying the discarded clothes up off of her Mistresses floor, hums of approval came from Elizabeth as she sipped her tea, letting out a satisfying 'ah' as she put the teacup down back onto the tray.
"Shall I have someone prep Sebastian for yo,u Miss Claydon?" Patrice asked sweetly as she picked upthe tray off the bed. The woman pondered for a moment before shaking her head, "he needs to get used to me, I can't be having someone else make that bond with him."
Patrice nodded and proceeded to head out of the room, leaving the lady to her devices for the day.
Needless to say, Elizabeth was excited to go on a ride with Sebastian, there was just something about that horse that she connected with and it had been quite some time since she had a horse, her parents believed she should know every skill there is to know, and that included horse riding, she wasn't too rusty at it as she evaluated yesterday so going out on a proper ride out near the mountains shouldn't be an issue.
When the woman arrived at the stables she saw a very happy-looking Sebastian stomping his hooves as she came into view. So maybe this whole bonding business won't be hard.
"And how are you today my love?" Elizabeth asked softly stroking his forehead upon approach, the animal 'neighed' in response and Elizabeth took that as a good sign.
"Dimitri!" The lady called and moments later a rather tall blonde-haired man came running around the corner of the stables.
"Yes, my Lady?" He asked with a slightly bowed head being in her presence.
"Would you mind grabbing me a saddle and whatnot for Sebastian, also can I have a fresh bucket of carrots awaiting our return?"
"Right away my Lady." Dimitri complied and went off to fetch the saddle.
"It'll only be a steady ride today, maybe a bit of running if you're up for it?" Talking to the animal brought a familiar sense of comfort to Elizabeth, having no one to speak to when Mother Miranda called her parents to meetings she would speak to the farm animals and the horses, Castle Claydon used to thrive but it was a bit duller now that what it was in her youth, sure it was clean and tidy but it still lacked that sense of...joy.

Trees were passing Elizabeth's eyes in a blur of green as she rode quickly through the forest, a laugh escaping her lips as the wind rushed through her hair, a feeling of ecstasy washing over her as Sebastian jumped over fallen trees and around bushes, the warmth from the sun surrounded her as she was filled with joy. This feeling was shortlived as from the darkness of the tall treeline came a figure, and along with it, a growling.
"Shit." Elizabeth cursed under her breath, a fucking Lycan of all things to ruin her morning.
The creature made a clicking sound as it snapped its head from side to side as it crept towards her, eyes focused on both her and the horse, one thing on its mind.
Prey.
Elizabeth wasn't fazed by the creature, she had literal control over them to stop them from committing violent acts, however, Sebastian was a bit more cautious of the creature bracing his neck upward in fear before taking control and rushing off further into the forest high speeds, naturally outrunning the Lyan, Elizabeth had no control over him as she hung on tightly to the reins, there was no point asking him to stop, it was his natural instinct to run from danger so she had to wait him out until he got tired. The Lady's hands had gone red from holding on so tightly, her determination not to let go going strong, but the force of Sebastian coming to an unannounced stop was enough to fling Elizabeth off of the saddle and onto the hard ground.
"Fuck!" Was all that came out of her mouth as she hit the ground, the sound of Sebastian grunting filled her ears, and she looked up to see him staring intently at something, sitting up she realised exactly what made the Stallion come to a stop.
It was the factory.
