"SILENCE!" Miranda screamed and everyone went silent "My decision is final, there will be no argument, remember from whence you came."

Alcina stormed off back towards her chair as Karl thanked Miranda and turned towards Ethan.

"Lycans and gentlemen!" He spun around with his hammer, there's the theatrical side that Elizabeth found so entertaining "We thank you for waiting, and now let the games begin!" He knelt before Ethan, a terrified look on the father's face as more creatures started to appear on the scaffolding of the Cathedral.

"Let's see what you're really made of, Ethan Winters. Get ready." He instructed the man, he needed this to be over and done with so he could speak to Elizabeth, alone.

"No wait!" Ethan cried out thinking Karl was going to bring his hammer down on him, but instead he cut the chains. He started the count down the Lycans hopped down, smelling and snarling at Ethan, he looked around in a panic and turned to Elizabeth, who motioned him to jump down the hole in the floor behind him.

He jumped down just as Heisenberg finished the countdown and the Lycans went after him.

"I can't believe you did that! He won't have survived Karl! He needed to be alive for his baby!" Elizabeth hadn't spoken the entire time the couple had trudged home in the snow, but now she was letting it all out, waving the Rose flask to prove a point.

Karl tried shushing her but she was having non of it.

"Lycans Karl! Hundreds of Lycans and hes just one man, a mortal man!"

"WILL YOU SHUT UP FOR A SECOND?"
He grabbed his fiances shoulders harshly and sat her down on a chair, finally shutting her up.

"Ethan is different."

"What do you mean?" She furrowed her brows at him, she never noticed anything different about Ethan.

"When I found him looking around I attacked him with all sorts of metal around me, even struck a pole through the guy's stomach, but he was still alive and breathing when I brought him in, explain that." Karl leant on the table across from her, a look of "what the fuck" across his face.

"That shouldn't be possible..." Elizabeth trailed off, she stood up from her chair and started to pace a bit, she couldn't find any explanation as to why Ethan could've survived that.

"It shouldn't, but it is, I knew he could survive, that's why I wanted him over the super-sized bitch, I knew he would escape, he's special Lizzie and I know he can help us." Karl had so much faith in Ethan, if it was him, Ethan, Elizabeth and those BSAA people Miranda stood no chance.

"Rose will still have her family okay?"

The statement should've comforted Elizabeth, but It only made her worry more because where was Mia? If Miranda was posing as her for god knows how long where was the actual Mia Winters and was she alive?

Elizabeth's thoughts were short-lived as the phone rang, this time Elizabeth went for the phone, and you never would've guessed who was on the other end of the line.
"Mother Miranda is everything alright?"

"No, Alcina just informed me that Ethan Winters escaped Heisenberg's little game and is roaming her Castle halls proving too much of a match for her daughters"

"Oh, Shit" Elizabeth mouthed to Karl before she continued talking "Well what do you want us to do?"

"Get back to your Castle Elizabeth, and make sure he does not get his hands on that flask! Inform Heisenberg while I inform the others." With that, the call ended and Elizabeth turned to Karl with the biggest smile on her face.

"What?" He asked, he had been on the other side of the room and didn't hear any of the calls except for what Elizabeth said.

"Ethan got out, he's at Alcinas right now. Karl... I think he's gonna make it." There was such warmth in the woman's heart, she felt like her happily ever after wasn't too far out of reach, and she couldn't wait.

"I told you." The man smirked embracing her. "When this is all over, this" he pointed to their engagement rings " this is happening, and I'll finally be able to call you my wife."

"Finally." She breathed out bringing him in for a deep kiss.

"Also, I need to go back to Claydon, Miranda wants us to defend the Flasks so I'm just gonna throw it in my basement until Ethan gets here, he's more than likely going to be hunting every one of us when he finds the first flask, and God forbid when he finds me, you should've seen how he looked at me when he saw me."

"Oh I saw, he was just about ready to kick your ass if he wasn't chained up." Karl laughed.

"At least stay for something to eat before you go running off, I've only just got you back after all."

Elizabeth wanted more than anything to just sit and have a meal like they used to but they couldn't right now, there were bigger things at stake.

"Karl you know I want to but I have to go and make sure everyone at my Castle is safe." She placed a hand on his cheek as she looked at him, a soft look in her eyes. He lowered his head allowing her to place a kiss on his forehead, he didn't want her to go, not when all this shit was going on, he couldn't risk losing her and even the thought of losing her to the Lycans or anything that was going on outside the factory knocked the man sick. Alas, he knew his words wouldn't stop her.

"Then you best get home quick."
