{Final Showdown}



"Why are you here?" The woman questioned the obese man on his wagon as he pulled up next to them. He didn't answer, instead motioning to the back of his wagon, the pair peaked around the side of it to see what on earth he was on about, and that's when they saw him. It was Ethan, emerging from the back, he looked different, more pale and worn down, unsurprising as Elizabeth literally saw him have his heart ripped out.

"How are you alive?" Karl raised his hammer towards the man, fearing that this was one of Mirandas' tricks, he knew he saw this man's dead body, so why was he alive?

"Karl..." Elizabeth warned.

"It's fine, it's fine," Ethan assured, understanding Karl's suspicion. "I'm made of mould...I died three years ago...Eveline came to me in a vision...she told me the truth...I don't have long left...please...help me save Rose"
Karl was right, there was something special about him, a reason behind he had survived all that the bat-shit crazy things that had to have happened to him.

"We will Ethan, don't worry," Elizabeth reassured him, walking over to him and placing the tired man's arm over her shoulder, helping him make his way up the steps towards the ritual, towards Miranda. She let him go and walk independently when they reached another barrier of mould.

"Karl." Elizabeth motioned and the man nodded, raising his hammer off the ground and having it shoot through the barrier, creating a hole for the trio to walk through. Mirandas' voice soon came into earshot and the pair saw her hunched over a small cradle of black goo, she raised her arms and they saw her, they saw Rose, fully intact and alive.

"Ah, little Eva! My beautiful daughter! Come to me" Miranda cried out as she held the child like a trophy. It seemed her victory was short-lived as a pain shot through the woman, visible from the way she contracted her body and began to sob.

"What?" She grunted, "My power is leaving me!"

"ROSE!" Ethan yelled upon seeing his daughter again.

"Give him back the kid Miranda." Karl threatened, both Lords stood on either side of the man, ready to defend him at all costs in his final hours and save his daughter.

Miranda turned around to face the three, her eyes landing on Ethan and widening "Interesting, your body certainly isn't normal."
She then turned to the Lords, "I thought Mr Winters would have killed you himself like he did the others...no matter, I'll do it myself"

"Give Rose to me now!" Ethan demanded, gun raised towards the woman.

"You will see. Once I kill you properly, every-"

"GET HER NOW!"

A gunshot was fired and hit Miranda cutting her off and startling her, she stopped moving for a moment and Ethan darted to grab Rose, he did but Miranda was quick to grab back onto her, beginning a tug of war for the child. Elizabeth and Karl rushed over to try and pry the woman off of the baby.

"I've spent a lifetime creating this moment... and you try to take it away from me? I will take what is due." Miranda hissed, raising her head revealing her full mutated form, it was horrifying, her eyes had been overtaken by the mould, leaving one red one on her forehead, and her body had extended itself to a tall skeletal-like figure, fingers growing into claws, and her wings were more ragged as she raised herself in the air, bending the mould to her will as Rose was taken out of reach.
"My desires will be fulfilled!"Rose is mine!"
The sheer force of her transformation flung Elizabeth and Karl back into the wall.

"SHE WILL NEVER BE YOURS!" Elizabeth yelled as she got up and used the air to lift her body upwards towards Miranda, she grabbed the being by the shoulders a struggle began and Elizabeth brought down a rain of lighting upon her, she screamed in pain and used her claws to slice her opponents shoulders, Lizzie cried out and her body dropped back to the floor.

"Elizabeth!" Karl shouted, running towards her fallen body. "I'm fine!" She reassured, "go help, Ethan!".

The man stated was shooting repeatedly at Miranda she tormented him with her words, she was sick.

"I've waited a century for this!" Miranda attacked, her focus still on destroying Ethan.

"So have I," Karl stated menacingly as all the metal in the surrounding area came flying towards him at once, creating his final form. Elizabeth watched as she prepared a tornado to try and slow Miranda down and distort her. She had never seen Karl's form, she knew they all had one but she had never seen it, he was huge, a large metal beast, with what seemed to be an unlimited armoury attacked him amongst all his weapons.

Elizabeth sent the tornado towards Miranda, the woman's wings being caught up in the wind and spinning her around, an aggravated scream came from her and she broke through Elizabeth's trap and went straight for the woman at an alarming rate

"Oh shit!" She panicked and started running.

"No, you don't!" The booming voice of Karl's mutated self came and Elizabeth turned to see her fiancé holding Miranda in his grasp as she wriggled.

"That's my fucking wife." He spat as he brought the woman close to his mechanical face.

"That's right bitch!" Elizabeth chimed in from down below before turning to Ethan. "Light the bitch up."
With that the man let loose with his weapons, firing bullets at Miranda till kingdom come while she remained in Karl's grasp.

"Enough!"

Miranda broke from Karl's grasp and sent a wave of Mold vines towards them all knocking them to the ground, but she went for Karl the most...
As soon as she had the other two down she came at Karl with everything she had, he was hopeless to it, he was already exhausted from his transformation and Miranda was not pulling her punches.
