Ethan was seated, still in shock, as Heisenberg walked over to the board, lifting a knife with his hand and willing it to hit the pictures on the wall.
"Lady super-sized bitch"
Alcina.
"Ugly-ass psycho doll"
Donna and Angie.
"-and that moronic freak."
Moreau.
Elizabeth still was trying to process the fact that they had been killed, and by non other than the sweet father sat before her.
"Don't you get it? It's a test, to see if you're strong enough... to be part of Miranda's family."
"I don't want to be a part of Mirandas' family-"
"Neither did I." Karl shouted, "but here we are!" His frustration was clear, flailing his arms about like a pissed-off man child.
"Ethan.." Elizabeth began softly, a contrast to her other half as she approached him and crouched down in front of him, a sign of surrender, a sign that she wasn't going to hurt him despite his anxiety towards this entire situation. "I know we- especially Karl- are the last people you want to trust right now but believe me when I say that all three of us want you and your daughter to be whole again."
"Three?" Ethan asked looking between the two.
"Hey, Ethan."
A new voice entered the conversation, and Ethan stood up quickly in a defensive stance. "Chris." He greeted in a sharp tone.
"This is gonna be good," Karl whispered over his fiancé's shoulders, and she gave him a harsh glance, causing him to close his mouth.
"Tell him." Elizabeth encouraged, and she saw Chris take a deep breath before explaining to Ethan what had exactly happened. She watched as Ethans' harsh expression changed, as he learned that the woman he believed to be his wife was Miranda in disguise, leaving him to wonder where his wife actually was.
"She's a bioweapon." He stated, "She changed her appearance and pretended to be Mia."
"She even fooled me." Elizabeth let her head fall in defeat. She felt an immense amount of guilt as she was unable to sense Miranda right under her nose.
Chris continued to tell him how Miranda was experimenting with the mould, causing Ethan to respond, something about Louisiana?
"She took me. Took us." Karl motioned to Elizabeth. "To be her children. She locked us away in the village. Decades of being forced to serve her. Can you even understand that humiliation?"
Ethan said nothing.
"Miranda thinks we're nothing but children. Oh, she doesn't care for us, no. She's long lost all her humanity." Karl continued.
"Soon, she'll start her ceremony with your Rose. If that happens, it's all over. For your kid, and for the whole village." Chris had a buzzing come from his pocket as Elizabeth spoke, and he let out an audible sigh as he looked at the image sent to him.
"Here." Chris threw the phone lightly to Ethan, who caught it. It was an image of Miranda with the Giants chalice that contained all five Rose flasks.
"We-we have to go now." Ethan panicked, trying to make a break for the door, only to be stopped by Elizabeth, who snatched the device off of him, her eyes widening as she saw the picture.
"I agree." She said, also trying to make a break for the door. She couldn't let Miranda begin the ceremony.
Chris assured them, "My men are monitoring the situation."
That didn't give Elizabeth or Ethan any reassurance.
"She's fucking got Rose what's monitoring going to do!" She questioned, the woman was all but ready to attack the man as she lunged for him, only to be grabbed by the waist and pulled back by Karl.
"Easy buttercup." He strained trying to hold the woman back.
"Get the army ready." Elizabeth's eyes darkened as she stopped struggling against Karl's grip. "Get it ready, we are taking the fight to Miranda. Now."
Karl knew that Elizabeth was in war mode right now, and any attempts to disagree with her would be fruitless. He nodded and went out of the room, ready to prepare for the biggest fight of his life.
Ethan began making a walk for the door as well stating, "I need some air.".
Chris and Elizabeth nodded as the man left leaving the two alone.
"You want to save this kid don't you?" The question caught Elizabeth off guard and she lifted her head to meet the soldier's gaze.
"I've loved that child since the moment I laid my eyes on her, it seems that when you can't have your own kids your maternal instincts have to go somewhere." She let out a sad laugh, the white wedding, the picket fence, and the children running around seemed like a distant dream at this point, she gazed longingly out the window, but the sight she saw, wasn't a comforting one.
A scream came from the woman's mouth as she gazed at the grounds and was met with a horrifying sight.
It was Miranda.
With Ethans' heart in her hand.

Elizabeth had never moved so fast in her life as she ran to the door and flung them open with such force it nearly took them off their hinges.
She couldn't stop Miranda as she transformed into a small flock of crows and fled the murder scene.
"No, no, no, no," The woman repeated as she ran to Ethans' corpse, dropping to the ground beside him. She placed his head on her lap. There was no movement from him.
A single tear formed from her eye and slid down onto the man's face below her. Now Rose had no family. No mother and no father, just like her.
Chris came running out after the woman and his heart sank as he saw the man's body. He had tried so hard to protect him and his family from all of this, and he had failed.
Karl was watching from the cameras inside of the factory. He heard Elizabeth's scream and went to check them immediately. He couldn't believe it either, as he rested his head in his hands. He stayed there for a moment before pressing the coms button connecting to the outside speakers.
"The army's ready..." his voice echoed, and he saw Elizabeth look towards the factory and nod, placing Ethans' head back on the ground gently before standing up. She had to avenge him.
"We'll come back for you." She whispered softly to the dead man before turning to Chris.
"Take the army, wreak havoc on the Lycans and the rest of the monsters in this god forsaken place, and put an end to that fucking mould."
