It had been many years since that kiss at the gates of Claydon Castle, and from that single kiss grew a beautiful romance, the pair were shocked that they were able to experience such emotions but neither was complaining, in a way they felt like they completed each other. Elizabeth and Karl had kept their relationship a secret, but that didn't mean they didn't see each other often...

"Lord Heisenberg? Lady Claydon has requested that you get up because, and I quote 'it's 2 o'clock in the afternoon and you can't keep being a lazy bastard."

Heisenberg groaned rolling over in the silk bedsheets to face the door.
"Thank you, Patrice," he said, drawing out his words, as soon as he heard the door shut he stuffed his head into the mountain of pillows. It was his night to stay over and without a doubt, he slept better at Castle Claydon than he ever did at the Factory, although now the factory had a woman's touch, Elizabeth sorting out his Chambers to how she thought would suit them both, making sure it was clean and tidy. She didn't touch the rest of the factory, that was his home and his experiments and she wouldn't disturb it, even if it was filthy.

Karl rolled out of bed throwing on his pants, and his sunglasses before exiting the room, he could still smell Elizabeth's perfume from when she had sprayed it on herself earlier that day, it was a comforting smell to him, the aroma of lavender being her distinctive scent.
"Morning ladies." Heisenberg greeted the maids as he passed them cleaning the corridors.

"Good morning Lord Heisenberg." The women bowed their heads in unison, these were new members of staff, after twenty years the previous staff got older of course so new help was needed to do the things the others couldn't.

The smell of dinner lingered in the air and Heisenberg followed the smell down into the Kitchens, the staff were cleaning away dinner but there was, however, a plate set aside on one of the sides for him.

"Lady Claydon went out hunting not too long ago sir, she said to eat up and make sure the bed was made upon her return" one of the cooks informed him before returning to his cleaning.

Karl muttered a thank you before grabbing the plate and heading back upstairs to the parlour, it was the only room with a television in it, he had to entertain himself somehow while he waited for his significant other to get home.

Sebastian sped through the forest Elizabeth sat securely on the saddle as the two pounded through the forest, Elizabeth had seen a bear just moments ago and it started to run as he saw the giant horse and bow and arrow, this beast knew what a hunter was.

"FASTER SEBASTIAN WE'VE ALMOST GOT HIM!" She yelled and the horse complied using all of his stamina to keep up with the bear, hurdling over logs and rocks, anything that would obstruct their path to capture the animal. They rode for another 10 minutes before they arrived at a cave, the bear had just slipped out of sight a few seconds ago so that must be where it was hiding, she hopped off her noble friend and drew an arrow, approaching the cave.

"Come outtttt" Elizabeth taunted slightly, hoping the sound of her voice would be enough to bring it out of hiding, but what she brought out was much worse, it wasn't just 1 bear that came out, it was four. She was strong but to battle, four fully-grown bears was going to be a challenge.

"Sebastian go hide!" She yelled to the horse, he knew better than to disobey her words and hurried off back into the forest.

The bear she was chasing originally was the first to make a move on her, going up on its hind legs and towering over the woman, she quickly rolled out of the way as the bear's paws came crashing down to where she would've been. She wasn't out of the clear yet though, the second bear had his teeth bared as he prepared to attack, but fortunately, Elizabeth was faster, her arrow hit it straight in the head.

One down three to go.

The battle didn't last long and by the end of it Elizabeth was covered in blood and mud, she was going to enjoy a hot bath later. She looked around at the dead animals, making sure they weren't moving when she felt a sharp pain on her back, she reached around as best she could and hissed as she made contact with what felt to be a deep claw mark.

"Fuck." She cursed, grabbing her bow and whistling for Sebastian, it took him a few moments to arrive but when he did he treaded cautiously into the open area.

"Let's get these to the village, people are gonna be really warm this winter with all this bear fur." She chuckled and hoisted the bodies into the cart that was attached to Sebastian.

Upon arriving at the village market everyone was staring at Elizabeth in pure shock, the blood-soaked woman attracting a lot of attention from the people.

"Lady Elizabeth what happened?" James, Charles' son asked her as she approached his stall, James took over at Charles passed away and just like his father he was a kind man who held no fear for the woman.

"Oh you know, got into a catfight with a bunch of bears, nothing too drastic." She chuckled but stopped as soon she felt the pain in her back starts to flare up again. Elizabeth received a generous amount of Lei for the four bears and it couldn't have come at a better time as she had the Duke to pay later on heaven knows his prices were never fair, but, he was able to obtain things from outside the Village that others couldn't get, Elizabeth was fully capable of leaving the village as she had no visible mutations but something always presented her, like a voice in the back of her mind telling her that she shouldn't.
