"PRESENTING LADY CLAYTON AND HER ENTOURAGE."

The master of ceremonies called out upon their arrival, but in this case, it was a woman, all of the staff at the castle were women, and the only men in sight were the men from the Village and of course Elizabeth's staff.

The help went first, presenting the presents and laying them on the table with the rest of the presents before going off to mingle with the rest of the guests.

"You ready to go up ma'am?" Patrice asked the clearly nervous woman.

"Ye-yeah ill be fine you go on up Patrice Ill be there in a moment," Elizabeth assured her and Patrice didn't say anything else as she ascended the stairs to the party.
Elizabeth rarely made public appearances, when she did it was a ten-minute visit to the village to sell or trade, not something like this.

"Auntie Elizabethhhhh." A choral of voices was heard by the woman and she whipped her head around to see an army of bugs coming towards her from her right, soon enough those bugs formed into three young women, instead of their usual black cloaked attire they were in royal coloured dresses, a nice change.

"Hello, my darlings." Elizabeth smiled at her 'nieces' she had seen them on quite a few occasions during the summers, they couldn't stand the cold, it was deathly to them so whenever they made visits to her Castle she would make sure the weather was extra warm for them, she prefered them over their mother.

"Are you not coming in?"

"Come on Auntie"

"You look so stunning."

The triplets bombarded her and she just laughed at their behaviour until Cassandra took her by the hand and started leading her upstairs, Daniela took her other hand and Bela went ahead of them all.
The whole room turned to stare as the birthday girls reentered the party along with the gorgeous woman in red, Elizabeth felt more awkward than before but thankfully the girls turned the atmosphere back to normal as they went scurrying towards the present table pushing and shoving wanting to see what their "Auntie Lizzie" got them.

Elizabeth smiled as the girls smelled the bundles of roses and started twirling the silk around themselves.

"You spoil them too much." A chuckle was heard and Elizabeth knew instantly who it belonged to.

"Heisenberg." She greeted, turning to face him fully, the man inhaled upon looking at her, the dress hugged her waist beautifully and the colour...well let's just say red was now his new favourite colour.

"Oh, my god." She stated in shock as she looked at the man before her, he wasn't in his oily clothes and trench coat, he wore a black suit, his hat was nowhere in sight and the top of his hair was slicked back, his hair was tidy for once, the sunglasses remained thank god.

"What?" He asked concerned.

"Nothing." She continued laughing "it's just so strange to see you all dressed up."

He smiled at the woman's amusement to him and stood with his arms folded letting her get all of it out of her system.

"Well let's just say after our conversation I had Donna whip up a little something." He shrugged, he genuinely did take her advice, as much as he didn't care about his appearance, something about Elizabeth being there made him put in an effort.

"Well, it paid off look at you!"

"Well, I see you decided to wash that mud off Claydon." Heisenberg retorted.

"I see you crawled out of that Factory Heisenberg" Elizabeth snapped back.

The pair smiled at each other, both taken away by how breathtaking the other looked.
The tapping of a glass pulled the two away from their trance.

Alcina stood in the centre of the room, wearing a red dress, similar to the colour of Elizabeth's, but with black laced trims around the necklace and sleeves.

"Thank you all for coming to my daughter's birthday and bringing all these lavished gifts that are greatly appreciated." Her tone was proud as it always was, as she towered over what she deemed to be 'her subjects'.

Heisenberg leaned over to Elizabeth's ear "Look how proud the big bitch is."

Elizabeth swallowed her laughter and lightly smacked his chest with the back of her hand.

"Now I invite you all to the dance floor" with a click of her fingers the orchestra started to play again, this time to a melody that Elizabeth recognised instantly.

"Tchaikovsky!" Her voice was filled with glee.

Heisenberg raised an eyebrow at her and she rolled her eyes at his lack of knowledge.

"It's Swan Lake op.20 from act 1! It's the waltz!"

Karl couldn't help but admire how passionately she spoke about the music.

The more Elizabeth looked at Karl the more she saw a smile coming onto his face, she gave him a look saying 'what's going on?'

"Well if you must know after you mentioned theatre and Swan Lake back at the factory I had Duke look into it for me, he brought back the sheet music for it and that music is in front of the orchestra right now."

She couldn't believe that he had done this, that he had gone out of his way to do something so thoughtful, just for her.

"So you hijacked the party for me?" The gleam in her eye at that moment would make anyone melt.

"But of course..partner," he whispered that last part and to Elizabeth's surprise he held out his hand to her, she rested her hand in his as he escorted her to the dance floor where there was already a few other people dancing the waltz around the room.

"Don't trip" she smirked at him, causing the man to huff in annoyance and grip her by the waist pulling her close to him, their faces just inches apart.

"I would never."

And with those words their dance began, joining the other couples on the dance floor they did the very same dance moves but the way they did it was with much more elegance than any other on the dance floor. Both being raised by noble families meant they knew by instinct how to dance, even if it had been a while since either of them had done it.
