It was the day of the Triplets birthday and the entire Village was bustling about trying to prepare everything.

It had been around 2 weeks since Elizabeth's last encounter with Heisenberg, but that didn't mean they hadn't spoken, Elizabeth was interrupted one night as she was watching television when Heisenberg crest came up on the screen. The pair had a chat about nothing in particular, he had asked if her wound had healed yet and it had, it didn't take long for her skin to heal itself and the stitches to become useless, another topic of conversation was the event at Castle Dimitrescu and how Elizabeth had made sure all of her staff had something suitable to wear, she informed him that to achieve such a task she enlisted the help of Donna, seemed she could do more than just craft clothes for her dolls, the Duke was their means of exchanging the clothes, the rest was done by telephone and Elizabeth paid handsomely for her services.

Now on the morning of this day, our lady was up bright and early, without the help of Patrice, and she was rushing about the castle making sure everything was prepared, she had arranged a wide variety of gifts to be taken to the Castle; Bouquets of blood red roses, ruby-encrusted goblets and some black silk. Very regal gifts and Elizabeth kept in mind to go with the red theme a little humour for herself due to the fact they survive on blood.
All of the servants were like worker ants as they scurried around the halls, packaging the gifts, catering some food to bring, and making sure their clothes were ready so they could get changed at a moment's notice.

"Miss Claydon the roses are ready!"

"Lady Claydon, how do you want the silk packaged?"

"Mistress the Tarts are done!"

It's a surprise that Elizabeth wasn't stressing up a storm but she was calm and collected, she wasn't about to start making it rain when she still had to travel.

"Package the silk up in a fine chest I'm not turning up to Castle Dimestrescu just to be ridiculed." The lady of the house shouted back in response before she walked towards her room, she knew Patrice would sort everything else out for her and make sure everything was just right, now it was up to her to get herself ready, she wasn't going to bother the help while they were doing everything else.

She flung the doors of her wardrobe open, and to the right was a cluttered collection of gowns hung up, most of them being her mothers' old dresses, Elizabeth refused to throw them away after her mother's death, the sentimental value being too much, as she remembered those night her mother used to hold her and Eli on her lap as she wore her huge elegant gowns by the fireplace, reading to them as their father brought them snacks.

The colours varied but there was one dress that stood out, it always had, it was a stunning red gown with a low-cut bodice and jewels adorning it. This was the one. Elizabeth grabbed it from the wardrobe and laid it out on the bed, now for shoes, heels were something she lacked. She rummaged around her room looking under the bed and in drawers, basically, anywhere she could for a pair but there was no hope...
Her mother had heels, plenty at that, that's the only place they would be any type of formal shoe wear.

She hadn't stepped foot in her parents' room for years, decades even, it brought back many painful memories, but Elizabeth knew her mother would roll over in her grave if she wore hunting boots to a ball.

"The things I do for you mother," Elizabeth muttered as she made her way to her parents' chamber, unlike what you'd imagine the chamber was regularly cleaned, nothing was moved of course but Elizabeth couldn't imagine cobwebs and dust filling the room of her beloved parents. The hinges creaked as she gently pushed the door open, the shoe cabinet was just next to the door so she was spared the torment of actually entering the room fully.
A pair of black heels would suffice, she grabbed them swiftly but something caught her eye as she was getting up...a portrait.

Her mother sat on a sofa to the right and her father was stood on the left, while Elizabeth was sat in her mothers' lap, she always loved how Eli looked in this portrait, looking at his sister in such wonder, the four were all smiling, probably the last time they were altogether happy when that portrait was painted.

"I wish you were here," Elizabeth muttered with a sad smile before shutting the door.

Now that the outfit was all sorted it was time for hair and a touch of makeup, could never go wrong with a touch of mascara and lipstick, dark red lips were required, of course, she sat down at her vanity and took a deep breath before beginning.

"Miss? We're ready to go." Patrice announced knocking on her mistress door.

There was no response to the older woman who walked in, only to be in shock as she saw the girl she raised stood in front of a mirror looking the vision of beauty and elegance.

"Oh, my little Liza..." Patrice breathed out a hand on her chest as she tried not to tear up.

"Patrice surely I don't look that bad." Elizabeth looked at her caretaker through the mirror a small smile on her face as she joked.
Liza turned to face the woman and She held her hand out for Patrice to take, the woman did so gladly and helped escort the Lord out of her room and outside towards, where the carriage awaited to take her and her entourage to Castle Dimestrescu.

Hours had passed now and it was beginning to get dark, Elizabeth raised her arm upon her exit from Castle Claydon, making sure that there were no Lycans that would disrupt their journey.

"Thank you, Dimitri." Elizabeth nodded in gratitude as the man helped her step into the carriage, making sure that all of her dress was in and so was Patrice before shutting the door.
"Now I really feel like a princess Patrice ."
