Another phone call came not long after, this time from Chris, he informed her of a safe spot outside the village where his men were to save any survivors, he seemed pleased when he found out the whole of Elizabeth's staff were still alive and ready to leave at a moments notice, he wanted to save as many people as he could from Miranda's grasp.
Everyone and everything, except for Elizabeth, was loaded into the Carriages, all prepared to leave the Village they had lived in all their lives.
"Are you sure you can't come with us miss?" Patrice looked up at the woman with tears in her eyes, that was her daughter, biological or not, and she couldn't bear to leave her while she went to safety.
"I'll join you soon, I just have to make sure Miranda is gone." Elizabeth wiped the tears from the old woman's cheeks and gave her forehead a soft kiss, before motioning for her to get onto the carriage and to safety.
Elizabeth took a deep breath out, a gust of wind shooting past as she did so, the wind scared the horses making them go faster, she needed them to be safe, they had to be safe. Her heart dropped as she walked back into the castle, her home, the place where she had the fondest memories...

"Elizabeth Claydon if you don't slow down I swear..." Karl's voice warned the woman as he sped up to catch the running woman, he had made her a gift, it was a small mechanical hummingbird that Elizabeth had let out of its cage and was currently chasing around the hallways.
It didn't take long into the relationship for Elizabeth to realise that Heisenberg's love language was mainly crafting things that she would love, and she always loved what he made. Mechanics and building things were his life long before the pair fell in love and Elizabeth respected and adored that, only on the rare occasion complaining that she would like some of the attention that his work was getting.
"Keep up Karl!" Elizabeth shouted to her lover keeping her eyes on the small bird, suddenly it reached the end of a hallway and was rapidly looking around at the windows to see if any of them were open. Elizabeth chuckled as she finally came to a standstill and watch the bird look at its surroundings, a whistle came from behind her and she saw the creation whip past her head towards the sound, she turned to see a rather smug-looking Karl with the hummingbird on his shoulder.
He watched as Elizabeth held her hand out, a pouty look on her face as she looked between him and the bird. Her soft expression turned quickly as Karl shook his head smugly to his request.
A gust of wind blew his hair out of place wiping the look straight off his face.
"Fuck you." She mouthed with a smile before running past him, grabbing the bird in the process.
"It's not even finished yet give him back!"

"Don't you think it's crazy how we've been around since silent movies?" Elizabeth blurted out as the pair watched a rather dated musical on the old square television, it was "The King and I." Surprisingly Karl had no objection to the movie, he knew it'd be fruitless to object to Elizabeth's decisions anyway.
"I remember when coloured tv became a thing." Karl chuckled, pulling Elizabeth closer to his side as they lay curled up together on his bed. There were no clanging metal sounds in the factory, he shut everything down for movie night, and he even sent Duke to bring back some popcorn for the occasion. The couple didn't spend every waking minute with each other so the time they did spend together was like a treat, they knew they both had their own things to do and respected that, but they didn't mean they didn't miss each other profusely.
"Do you think we'll ever die?"
That was the question wasn't it, they'd been alive for a lot longer than the average human so it wasn't that far-fetched to assume that they wouldn't die for a long time.
"Probably," Karl responded not moving to look at the woman whose eyes were trained on him.
"It'll just take a lot longer for us to die, or maybe we won't die at all and just stay the age we are now."
"Like a vampire?"
Karl scoffed at her response, "I'm not gonna start drinking blood like that supersized bitch."

The villagers once again started to huddle as they felt the cold breeze enter the Market, they had grown to fear their Lady Claydon less and less over the years, as generations told of her kindness to the village. But Heisenberg? Not so much, he still held his reputation as the heartless Lord who only held a flame for the Lady of the forest, Elizabeth.
The pair walked side by side into the Village, it wasn't long after Miranda's outburst about thatso-calledd 'Eveline' girl and Elizabeth insisted that she needed a walk about and to be around people, s, of course,o of course Karl accompanied her.
"Miss Claydon." Luiza greeted as she passed the pair.
"Luiza." Elizabeth nodded. As soon as the woman was out ofearshott Elizabeth leant towards the man.
"She looks exactly like her Grandmother you know, I think it's nice they gave her her name."
Karl shook his head with a smile and took her hand in his as the pair continued to take a stroll through the village.

As the Lady continued to stroll around her home the sound of Static threw her focus off, her head whipped around to the television in the corner and the familiar crest of her fiance appeared, much to Elizabeth's relief.
"My love." She greeted the device.
"He got Donna buttercup, he's coming for you next."
A lump formed in Elizabeth's throat, if Ethan had already taken two of the five Lords what was stopping him from killing her before she even had a chance to explain herself?
It was like Karl knew what she was thinking as he spoke.
"You'll be fine, just do a me and pull a shit ton of theatrics." That made her smile, she loved his eccentrics.
"Whatever you say, Lord Heisenberg." She laughed.
"Naturally, Lady Heisenberg. "
