"We have to find her NOW!" James cried pacing outside of the marquee. He couldn't believe that this was finally happening. He had done everything to try and find her and now he had no leads at all. She was going to end up marrying Montague and he couldn't do a thing to stop it.

"James, I don't think Allie wants to be found. She clearly must be happy where she is. I think we call off the Aurors we have on her case...." Melissa was treading lightly so not to annoy him, but she was.

"Are you mad?! This is Allie! She would not marry somebody that she'd known for only two weeks! And look at her face, she looks miserable!" He exclaimed.

"James is right, this isn't like Allie at all. Call Izzy and Eliza, they'd tell you that!" Lily pleaded with Melissa.

"I'm sorry, but as Head Auror I think that we're wasting our resources on somebody who doesn't want to be found!" Melissa insisted.

"And you have evidence for that do you Auror Dawson?" James stood aside as his Dad stepped forward.

"Yes sir, it's in the photograph." Melissa showed him.

"I'm sorry, but just once piece of evidence analysed by yourself and not Alivia's family is not enough to call off a missing persons case. As your boss, I demand that you keep this mission open until she is found." He told her sternly.

James couldn't help but smile a little. He knew that his Dad wouldn't go against the head Auror without reason and just because it was Allie wasn't a reason at all; he had to think that Melissa was wrong for wanting to close the case. He had always been a methodical thinker and it was probably the reason why he'd be chosen to be the Head of the Department for Magical Law Enforcement.

"Of course sir." Then she disapparated, leaving the newsletter behind.

"I knew that it was only a matter of time before the wedding, but now I only have a week and I have nothing at all to go on!" James cried.

"James what are you going to do? This is awful!" Lily cried, looking very upset.

"Your brother will do everything he can to protect Allie, try not to worry darling." James watched as his Mum led Lily back inside the marquee, a look of worry in her own eyes.

"I wonder why she isn't resisting?" Albus suggested as they walked back towards the entrance to the marquee.

"Al if you were in a life threatening situation or if your friends and family were being threatened would you resist?" James asked him sarcastically.

"Come on, let's not start arguing. We need to stick together as a family to give Allie the best chance that we can by helping her." The two of them quietened down at their Dad's words and walked back into the wedding, trying to keep a smile on their face's.

James had not been sat down for five minutes when Rose came hurrying over, her face etched with worry. James couldn't help but note that that wasn't something one should see on a brides face on her wedding day. It hit him that she had probably seen Melissa arrive and take him out of the wedding.

"What is it?" Was all she asked as she sat down next to him. James paused for a moment, unsure if he should show her, before he pushed the newsletter towards her for her to read. He winced at her face as she became emotional at the words written and the picture.

"Oh merlin James, she's really going to end up marrying him isn't she?!" Rose whispered as she slid the newsletter back to him.

"I think so, Melissa thinks that she doesn't want to be found and tried to call off the Aurors." James replied with a sigh.
