5. Dinner

Wang Yibo looked the door from which Xiao Zhan exited and sighed. Had he realized Xiao Zhan was coming to his room sooner, he wouldn't've tried to escape so that Xiao Zhan wouldn't realize that there was something amiss. Wait, who was he kidding? Xiao Zhan clearly would've realized the window was open and close it, thereby closing Wang Yibo's last chance to escape. 'Stupid Yibo!' Wang Yibo couldn't help but curse himself. 'Had you been faster, you could've escaped this criminal right?' Wang Yibo continued eating his orange and threw the peel in the bin. 

Meanwhile, Xiao Zhan helped his aunt and uncle to set up the table along with Zhoucheng and Xuan Lu. "LuLu, the table is set. Why don't you go and call Wang Yibo for dinner?" Lu Jianmin asked his daughter. However, Xiao Zhan intervened in the middle. "I'll go call him." He said and left to Wang Yibo's room.

Xiao Zhan knew that he should be the one responsible for Wang Yibo since he was the one who kidnapped him. Besides, it seemed like Wang Yibo would listen only to him right now, even if it was out of fear. Although he really didn't like manipulating Wang Yibo like this, Xiao Zhan knew that he had no choice. If he slacks off in this matter, Wang Yibo would run away, and Xiao Zhan couldn't have that happening.

Again, like before, Xiao Zhan knocked the door and this time waited patiently for the omega to open the door. However, the door remained closed and Xiao Zhan could hear muffled cries coming from the other side. After knocking again after fifteen minutes, the door was opened and Xiao Zhan was greeted by a blotched faced and red eyed Wang Yibo. In all honesty, Xiao Zhan hated seeing Wang Yibo like this. But he knew he was the reason for the other man's suffering. This poor omega lost his fiancee and his freedom all on the same day.

After taking in a deep breath, Xiao Zhan spoke. "Dinner is ready. Come on." "I'm not hungry." Wang Yibo said, although his stomach betrayed him by giving a loud growl. Xiao Zhan stared at Wang Yibo for a second, grabbed his hand and dragged him to the dining hall. Along the way, Wang Yibo kept shouting at Xiao Zhan to let him go as he struggled uselessly to break free from that iron fist. He even hit Xiao Zhan multiple times, but all were in vain. It was almost like Xiao Zhan was made of steel.

As Xiao Zhan dragged Wang Yibo to the dining room, he resisted the urge to shout at him. Man! How did someone even fall in love with this guy? At the moment, even if he thought it was impossible before, Xiao Zhan couldn't help but be in awe of Zhu Zanjin for being able to tolerate Wang Yibo. If Xiao Zhan was in Zhu Zanjin's place, he would've dumped Wang Yibo a long time ago.

After dragging Wang Yibo to the dining hall, Xiao Zhan forced Wang Yibo to sit down. His family joined them soon after and finally started eating. Xiao Zhan served Wang Yibo first before serving himself. After waiting for a long time, Wang Yibo started devouring the food on his plate.

In all honesty, Wang Yibo didn't want to eat anything from his kidnapper. But somehow, his stomach betrayed him. All he had from morning was an orange, that too an orange Xiao Zhan gave him. His stomach kept growling until he finally couldn't hold himself back and ate quickly and quite clumsily.

Xiao Zhan gave a small grin while looking at Wang Yibo. 'He's such a messy eater. Actually, right now, it makes sense.' Xiao Zhan thought as he started eating his rice. All throughout dinner, Xiao Zhan kept passing Wang Yibo all the dishes on the table and continued looking at the omega beside him. If anyone didn't understand the whole situation at hand, they would think Wang Yibo was a glutton by looking at the amount of food he was shoving into his mouth. All throughout dinner, Xiao Zhan kept serving Wang Yibo all the dishes.
