A/N- It's 2am again haha I think I'm going crazy! School is starting again tomrrow so fml...updates won't come again for a few more weeks since I need to focus a bit when starting the new term so I hope no one minds. As always please comment, vote and follow because it would mean a lot to me, and also know remember that this is my book and I will do whatever I please with it, so please respect that! x

Oh and another thing! I watched 50 Shades of Grey a few days ago and it was shit af! I thought the book was alright judging from what I had read because I never completed it, but the overall acting was terrible! I'll admit some parts of the movie were amusing but the overall movie it's self is not satisfactory. If they do make a sequel like I hear they are planning to do, they must step up their game!

"Rachel I'm going to be honest." She puts down her phone to pay attention. "I've done something," I say to her. "Something bad?" "I'm not sure but...this thing that I've done...it's all I've been thinking about these past few days." "Does it have to do with your fighter friend?" I nod unsurely. "Look you don't have to tell me what it is but I think that whatever you did wasn't bad, it was probably just new. And new isn't bad, it's just new." I sigh. "I'm so fucking confused. And I'm going to meet her brother later on after work."

"Her what?" She laughed. "Yeah she wants me to meet her brother. I don't know she keeps saying she wants to make it up to me because she feels guilty about all of the stuff that's happened to me recently." "Does that include your injury?" She snorts. I roll my eyes, reaching for my purse before putting my share of the bill onto the table. "Bye Rachel I'm going back to work." "What? Your lunch break isn't over for like another half an hour!" She yells. Before exiting the café I turn around. "And it takes 25 minutes to get back to work from here since you were just dying to let me try this new café all the way in Brooklyn. Thanks for lunch but I really have to go!" I blow her a kiss and leave.

I arrive back to work 6 minutes early and I see Alex talking to Ben. "Hey," I greet them. They both turn to me and Alex smiles. "You're back a bit early. Phil called in sick just now and the twins are on holiday somewhere in Boston. Do you mind working Phil's shift today? I'll pay you overtime." I look at Ben for support. "It's my girlfriend's birthday and I promised we'd do something special as soon as I finish work. She's been hinting me that she wants more attention and if I'm trying my best to keep her happy." He says apologetically. "And I'd pick up the extra hours but I have a family thing. I could try to get out of it but my sisters would kill me." I bite my lip before nodding. It would be rude of me to deny this request. I don't really have much of an option, considering it's from my boss. "It's okay. I already have the keys to the shop, I'll work until closing time." Alex hugs me with a sigh. "You're a saint, thank you."

The two of them soon leave and I'm left if charge of the store for the rest of the day. The store closes usually at 6pm but I take a while longer to help a client. He was looking for something suitable for a ball of some sort tomorrow evening, unfortunately for me he had brought his girlfriend along and she did not like anything I picked out for him. "Grey doesn't suit you." She insulted. I roll my eyes. This woman doesn't like white, she doesn't like brown, she doesn't even like black and now she's denying this? I can't please her. "Let's try something along the lines of navy, perhaps?" I suggest. He nods and I go into the back of the store and search for a navy suit I feel is flattering for him. I frown when I can't seem to find his size, but grin when I do. The faster I find what he wants the faster I can be done with today.

"So I have this one that looks very nice with a beige dress shirt and a grey tie. I feel it would suit you. Now it's Gucci so it is a bit pricy but it would be well worth it." I tell him. He takes it and examines it for a second before smiling. "I think I'll try this one on." Eventually he convinces his girlfriend to accept his decision to buy it and they're on their way. "Have a lovely evening." I didn't really care to whether or not their evening was lovely. I'm more focused on the fact that in result of my small act of kindness to stay open later than usual I've earned $5550 by selling just a single outfit. And I'm pretty sure I really earned it today.
