I yawn as we step down the stairs of the jet. "How are you not jet-lagged?" "I've been on a thousand plane rides. Got used to it ages ago." Jason reminds me. "Hurry up babe, the car's waiting." I take hold of his hand and we begin to walk together. "Is Sebastian going to drive us?" "Yeah I know you like him the best." "Well he's the only one who doesn't judge me and make the drive uncomfortable." "I didn't know that the other drivers made you uncomfortable?" Concern is evident in his voice as he turns his head and looks at me conspicuously. "I mean I don't really mind I just have a preference." I tell him. "It's not a big deal. I just prefer Sebastian." "No, no. If you're unhappy with any of my workers just say the word. I'll have a talk with them for you." He insists. "You don't have to do that." I say as we approach the car. Sebastian waves to us formally and offers a wide smile which I return
"Oh wow. Very nice sir." He comments on my ring and politely holds his hand out, awaiting for me to place mine in it. "May I?" He gently grasps my hand before bringing it closer to his face to examine my ring and whistles. "You're a very lucky woman." "Yeah I suppose I am." "I admire you two quite a lot. You both put in so much effort in your relationship. Whatever challenges you've both faced you manage to pull through. You always do." I smile fondly at him, my heart is swelling with warmth at his kindness. "Thanks Sebastian." Jason tells him. He proceeds to open the door and Jason gets in first. When I take a seat I sigh. "I think I might go on a run later." I mumble. "Are you feeling better, though? I don't want you to get any sicker." "Yeah I think moving around will help me though, I've been resting the entire day, I feel lazy." "Just promise to be careful." Jason stresses. "You don't have to worry so much, you know." He gives me an innocent smile and I roll my eyes in a playful manner. "Suppose I'll have to deal with this forever now, won't I?" I manage to make him laugh loudly and it makes me smile to see him so carefree and joyful. "Hey, you're the one who said yes." "You got me there, babe." I pinch his cheek and he continues to grin at me happily. "Hey can I ask you a question?" He asks. "Sure." "I hadn't used my pool once after you left but Isabella's friend found your engagement ring in the pool." I feel my body tense. "You threw it in there on purpose, right?" "It was after our huge fight. You know, you chased me up the stairs." Realisation hits him judging my his expression and he groans. "I remember now. I was so desperate that I begged you not to leave." His voice is filled with embarrassment and I can't help but laugh. "What's so funny." "How far we've come. I really believe that this can work. Can we please just stop talking about the past? We all live and learn, it's a part of life. I thought we were past that." "No, we are." He assures. "Then why are you bringing it up?" "I'm not sure actually. Just came into mind."

"Jason Cosmos and his girlfriend Britney Patterson were both seen arriving back to their penthouse today from the airport, it appears that the lovebirds went on a short holiday together in Canada. It also seems like the lucky lady has brought something back with her, that new engagement ring on her finger must be at least 15 carrots. We have yet to hear the newly engaged couple's wedding plans however we can surely expect it to be the wedding of the century. We know that Jason Cosmos is never one to disappoint, with a huge 30th, he's certainly obligated to keep the public updated with details about his upcoming w-" Jason takes the remote from my hand and turns off the television. I laugh as he throws it to the couch. "Don't watch that trash." "But it's funny." He brings his arms around my waist and kisses my neck softly. "I hate publicizing my life. Don't they have anything better to talk about?" "Didn't you used to like it a little?" I raise an eyebrow at him. "Hardly. Maybe at one point I did but it gets exhausting. I'm high maintenance for a reason and that reason is called media." "I know. It sucks but it's not like we can help it. Might as well put on a show for them." I suggest. "We'll give them a wedding to talk about." I encourage." "Yes we will." He laughs. "Let's work on the invite list." "What, now?" He seems shocked by my words and I find myself laughing. "Um, yes now. The wedding will be in December." "This December? That's a bit early." I free myself from his arms and take a seat, crossing my legs as I shrug my shoulders in a clueless manner. "I don't see the problem." "It's nothing I just...remember that big project I told you about?" "That one with James Packer? The billionaire?"
