Okay so second, getting serious here, don't tell me off about the relevance of the chapter, it's the best my mind would give me considering I've been having major writer's block, and lastly- I do apologise for taking almost a month to update, this alone took me over 4 hours non-stop to write, it's meant to be a fun chapter so don't post mean comments, please, I had fun writing this one, I hope you enjoy it, please follow and vote and comment, it's mean a lot x

And again, sorry for taking so long, I feel really bad but I also needed a break these holidays, school starts next week omg year 11, cross your fingers and pray I'll pass! There's a photo of the outfit on the side, I found it on instagram, it's cute af! And look at it twice if you think it's white because it's mint green lmao I can argue about this all day long

The day of the appointment. I miss it. Why, you ask? The reason being simple. Pressure made me second guess my plans and cause me to panic. So I stay at home instead. A powerful migraine controls my emotions and not to mention my throat is still sore, followed by my teeth aching. So I avoid eating until the feeling goes away, but it starts again.

Stupid, stupid Britney.

Out of frustration I decide to distract myself and spend the day outside to clear my thoughts. And my day begins to get better and better when I run into an old friend from high school. His name Alex, he is twenty five and has short, black hair, followed by blue eyes and a tall, broad figure. He is Italian, and was one of the many jocks back in school. Although many people thought of him as a stuck up arrogant jerk he really was one of the nicest people I knew. When I run into him we come back to my place and talk for hours. It was mainly him filling me in on how our old friends were doing, since we all parted ways after graduating. There comes a time where you realise people are only your friends because you see each other frequently for the same reason. But unlike those people, Rachel stuck by my side, which is one of the many reasons why I love her the way I do. Alex stayed in contact for a few months but eventually our endless word play over phones grew too trivial to continue, since it was the stage where everyone would all head off to college and become busy finding themselves and what they want to be. I knew what I wanted to be since middle school. But I highly doubt I will ever act on it, considering my lack of motivation and knowledge.

Alex got onto the topic of telling me he owned a very successful men's retail store in Manhattan's Garment District, and I very politely ask if he was employing. Luckily for me, he was, and he was kind enough to offer a job without hesitation. He knows I have experience, and given the fact we were in fact quite the close friends years ago, despite the fact he was in several grades higher than myself. It feels as if we never even stopped talking.

So here we are, 6 days later and I am surprisingly enjoying every single second of work. Alex's presence keeps me from feeling out of place, but that was never a problem in the first place considering my 5 co-workers were very friendly and kind. I was the only female employee, which, I will admit, was a bit awkward at first but everyone warmed up to me quite nicely. There's Ben, who looks very similar to Alex but is Egyptian and he is the same age as Alex as well, I believe. Next there is Joseph, he is twenty five and extremely handsome, tall, well built, and Australian, he comes with the amusing accent. Then we have Daniel, who happens to be Irish and twenty four. Cameron and Phil are the twin brothers that cannot seem to get along ever. They're both very cute, the same age as me, blonde, and with unique green eyes. Cameron has long hair which he ties in this trending 'man-bun' business that's been going around. Phil is identical, but his hair is short and I've only ever seen it in a quiff. Work is busy, but at the same time I am good at what I do. So the stress is at a minimum. The pay is exceptionally well and the best part of it all is having a friend as a boss.
