Buttercup: So your childhood friends may be working for Quarry?
Jake looks on in shock "Tuck, Squid, and Cricket? I can't believe this"
Rex: I have a plan. I can go undercover
Robin: It's not undercover if they know who you are, Rex
Rex: You know what I mean
Jake: I'm with Rex. Turn off the heat and let us track them down. If they're actually connected to Quarry, we can get some info out of em. Maybe even get em out the game
Robin thinks on this "Alright. Meet them, gain their trust, and learn whatever you can, however you can. Just don't let your emotions control you as it happens" ________________________________________________________________
Later: Some Alley
Jake: You sure this the right place, G?
Cricket and Skwydd drop in front of them
Rex: Pretty sure
Tuck lands as well
"Wanna finish what we started? Rex asks as he builds a Smack Hand while Jake dragons up "Go right ahead"
Tuck walks over to them as they get ready to attack, and then he pats Rex on the back "Really thought we could rattle you this time"
Rex debuilds his weapon and says "Yeah, well, when you're trying to live up to a legacy, you kinda don't get scared of corners"
Jake demorphs and the crew is shocked to see him
Skwydd: No way
Tuck: Jake too?
Skwydd: I bet it's not even them
Rex lifts his right arm and rolls up his sleeve as Jake lets out his tongue. Then they go "Ink check!"
