Set during the Maze Runner au
———
It was another normal day in the glade, the boys busy doing their duties and responsibilities. The girl glader however, was never the one afraid to say what was her mind especially when it came to a certain runner.

Her fingers gently dabbed the cloth across his forehead as she stood between his parted legs, wiping off the drops of blood from his wounds. Injuries from running and being reckless in the maze.

"What did you do this time?" She whispered, a whine in her voice as if she couldn't believe he was here in the med-jack's hut again. Her fingers slowly travelled down his rough cheeks to his bruised jaw, worry spreading through her chest.

He didn't reply, his face tilted up in her hold as he silently stared at her ocean blue eyes. They were beautiful. She was so close to him, something he was still getting used to.

"I don't appreciate you insisting for me to treat you every time you get hurt which you could avoid." Teresa spoke, quietly as she ignored the way he was staring at her. A frown was plastered across her face, not wanting to admit his close proximity was causing her heart to race.

Thomas smiled at the hint of sass in her voice, her gentle actions contradicting her words of annoyance. She was so alluring when he riled her up like this.

"It's not funny, Tom." She spoke, rolling her eyes at him and watched him to continue to smile at her with a mischievous glimmer in his brown eyes. It even turned into a smirk, he was such a idiot.

His hands suddenly grabbed her hips and tugged her forward as a gasp escaped her mouth and fell onto his lap. Right where he wanted her.

"Well that happened...." Teresa whispered under her breath as her hands clutched his shirt and stared at him in confusion.
"Because you're my favourite medic, Teresa." Thomas muttered, softly as he brought her closer to him.

He started nuzzling her neck, strands of her dark raven hair hitting his face as the scent of grass engulfed him. She fought the urge to back away and shivered in his arms as his nose lightly ran along her neck.

"Your so annoying." She whispered, softly as her fingers caressed and twisted strands of his sweaty brown hair. Her cheeks were flushed red as his strong arms wrapped around her small waist and chuckled into her soft skin.

He always found her reactions amusing and knew Teresa would never admit it but she liked being close to him too. She never pushed him away once.
