It was kind of late, but not really by the time we got back to the hotel, partially because we just had to stop for pizza.
Considering the day I'd had, you would think that I'd have been tired, but I wasn't in the least.
I was getting sort of used to all of the craziness that was being part of a band, even if I wasn't actually in the band. Combine that with the fact that I was still full of adrenaline from performing, and I was itching to do something fun."We should do something," I said suddenly.
We were all scattered around mine, Luke, and Calum's room.
"Like what?" Calum asked from beside me on our bed.
"I don't know," I shrugged. I had one of those lightbulb moments, and "WAIT YES I DO. I've never done a YouNow before! Can we do a YouNow?"
"Why not?" Calum said, pulling out his laptop.
Luke, Michael, and Ashton piled into the bed as Calum booted up YouNow and statues a broadcast.
"Heeeeeey," Luke said once it started.
"We just got back from performing and it was AWESOME! You guys know who you are," Ashton winked.
"We also picked this girl up on the side of the road because she was hitch-hiking and now she won't leave us alone," Luke said seriously, jabbing his thumb in my direction.
I playfully slapped his arm. "LUKE! I'll tell you guys that Luke called me and invited me to hang out with him this weekend, so there."
Comments started pouring in saying things about "Parke".
Luke read them and smirked. "You guys know *Parke* isn't real, right?" He said, using air quotes.
"It's not," Calum agreed. "Palum all the way."
"Palum?" I said, turning to him.
"It's our ship name," Calum informed me.
"You made up a ship name for us?"
"Yeah, I did."
I rolled my eyes. "Palum is not a thing guys. Calum's just being Calum."
A bunch of comments showed up saying that Palum was better than Parke and vice versa.
"Look what you did Calum," I said, pointing to the screen. "You made Palum a thing. Nice going." I couldn't help but laugh, despite Calum being so weird and creating a ship.
Calum shrugged exaggeratedly.
"C'est la vie, I suppose," I sighed in resignation.
Michael's eyes lit up. "SHE CAN SPEAK FRENCH!" He suddenly shouted.
"I THINK SHE'S FLUENT!" Ashton finished.
"GUYS AND HER NAME IS PARIS OHMYGOD THIS CHANGES EVERYTHINNNNNNG!" Luke yelled.
They all started screaming hysterically.
I looked at the screen and sighed. "I bet you wish you didn't wear headphones while watching this," I said.
A flurry of comments came in saying that that was true.
"But you never know when they're gonna swear loudly so you gotta wear headphones, right?"
More comments agreeing.
"I feel you," I said sympathetically. "But I can't plug in headphones and keep the world from hearing their childish screams and sailor-like vocabulary."
Michael stopped screaming. "Hey, you swear!" He protested.
The rest of them, stopped screaming.
"Yeah," Ashton agreed. "One time, she was reading on her phone, and it died and she jumped up and was like: SHIT SHIT SHIT NO NO NO SHIT SHIT SHIT NO I LOST MY PAGE SHIT SHIT SHIT NOOOOOO!"
"That never happened," I told the viewers.
"Okay no it didn't but still," Ashton admitted.
"Let's just answer some questions," I said, looking at the laptop. "Calum and Luke:" I read "What's better? Parke or Pal- oh god." I face palmed.
"Ummm..." Luke said.
"PALUM!" Calum screeched.
"PARKE!" Michael squealed.
"PALUM!"
"PARKE!"
"PALUM!"
"PARKE!"
"PAL-"
I cut him off. "EVERYBODY SHUT THE SHUCK UP OR SOMEBODY'S GONNA DIE!" They fell silent. "Yeah that's right, I read The Maze Runner." I said to the laptop.
Luke rolled his eyes at me. "You're so annoying."
I leaned into him and put my head on his shoulder and looked up at him playfully through my lashes. "You love me."
"Sure," Luke smiled at me.
"You guys aren't helping your case that Parke isn't a thing," Ashton commented.
"I do that to people all the time," I said casually, sitting up.
Calum fake pouted.
I tried not to burst into laughter at the sight of him. I scooched over to him and threw my arms around his small shoulders, laying my head on his shoulder. "What's wrong, Calum?" I simpered.
"You were cuddled up with Luke. I'm your cuddle buddy," he said in a fake hurt voice.
"CALUM'S JEALOUS!" Michael laughed.
Calum stuck his tongue out at Michael.
"It's okay, Calum. We're still cuddle buddies," I assured him, trying not to laugh.
"YAY!" Calum laughed. I sat up. "Palum is totally canon," he said to the camera.
I slapped his arm. "It is not!"
Calum blocked one side his mouth with his hand and whisper yelled: "she's playing hard to get."
I rolled my eyes and flopped back onto the bed. "You guys are impossible."
"But you love us," Ashton mocked me.
"Sure," I mimicked Luke.
We all laughed.
Calum looked at the screen. "Uh oh, my laptop's gonna die! I guess we'll have to talk to you later!"
"Bye guys!" The rest of us called.
Calum stopped recording.
"You guys are loud," I commented.
Michael shrugged. "Yeah, we are, aren't we?"
"You really are," I confirmed.
