Two words to describe me at that point? Freaking. out.
If every test was a Problem, then this was the Apocalypse.
I sat down and started to write my Science exam.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
I mean, it was hard, but I was expecting it to be a lot harder.
In no time at all, the bell was ringing for my History exam.
I rushed into the next class, and the story was the same; I was thinking it was going to be a whole lot worse than it actually was.
Finally, I finished my last exam for the day.
I practically ran to the band room, eager to get out of the school with the boys.
I opened the door to the room to find it empty.
"No no no no no no!" I panicked. "Where did you guys go?" I said to myself, nearly in tears.
The boys were wandering around my school alone.
And I had no clue where they were.
I started to hyperventilate a bit.
I slumped down on the floor. "What am I going to do?" I thought, terrified.
My breathing got faster. In. Out. In. Out.
I pulled my knees to my chest, and kept crying.
About 5 minutes later the boys came back into the room, and stopped short when they saw me on the floor.
"Paris?" Luke asked worriedly, crouching down beside me.
I breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed into his waiting arms.
"Are you okay?" Calum asked concernedly.
"I'm fine now," I breathed, wiping my tears, head resting on Luke's shoulder.
"What happened?" Ashton asked.
"Oh, nothing," I said.
"That shit was not nothing," Michael said seriously.
"It happens all the time, don't worry," I said easily.
"And why exactly does that happen all the time?" Calum asked.
I took a deep breath. "Anxiety attacks okay? I get anxiety and panic attacks. And when I came back and you weren't here I just..."
Luke's arms tightened around my middle and they all looked guilty, staring at the ground.
"We're sorry, Paris. We didn't mean to upset you."
"It's okay," I said lightly. "Like I said, it happens all the time."
"Can we go, though?" I asked Luke.
"Of course," he answered, gently sitting me on the floor so he could get up.
Once he was towering over me, I mean standing, he reached out his hand to help me up.
I smiled, accepting it. "Thanks."
"Least I could do," he said guiltily.
I signed. "I told you guys, it's no big deal."
We walked down the nearly empty hall, their hoods up of course, and out the back door.
"Still," he muttered, eyes downcast.
Luke's P.O.V.
I felt like utter shit about causing Paris to have a panic attack.
I knew she had an anxiety disorder, and what did I do? Give her a panic attack.
We just went exploring after the halls cleared out, looking around a bit.
We thought it would take her longer to get back.
We were mistaken apparently.
Paris's P.O.V.
Once loaded back in the car, slightly awkward silence ensued.
"What do you guys want to do today?" I asked.
"I think we should just hang out in the bus," Ashton said uneasily.
I rolled my eyes. "Guys, seriously, I'm fine."
"Okay. What should we do?" Michael gave in.
"We could... Um... I don't know. Small town probs. Let's just watch a movie on Netflix and eat food. But in my room. Not in the bus."
They chuckled.
"Sounds good," Calum agreed.
Once home, we raided the kitchen, grabbing chips, peanut butter, cookies, and ice cream. And some spoons (since Liam Payne had not tagged along).
We went way upstairs to my room, and I made them wait outside while I changed into my Roots pants and Luke's old Nirvana shirt that I had stole.
Luke smiled upon seeing me in his too-big shirt.
We all piled onto my queen sized bed, all the boys squished together and me between Luke's mile long legs, leaning into his chest. The food was scattered around, me with the ice cream in my lap.
I pulled out my MacBook, and booted up Netflix.
"What should we watch?" I asked them.
"You choose," Luke offered.
"Pitch Perfect," I decided, clicking on it.
"Aw yes," Luke cheered.
"I sing along, I'm warning you," I said seriously.
"So does Luke, it's a singer thing, I guess," Michael said.
"You're gonna sing with me, right?" I said, craning my neck to see Luke.
"Of course," he chuckled.
I pressed play and the movie began, Luke and I singing The Sign up until Aubrey... ya know.
Throughout the whole movie, Luke and I (and sometimes the others) singing, and all of us quoting along correspondingly. We also ate our way through the food, the boys occasionally stealing spoonfuls of my ice cream. Mostly Luke, since he likes ice cream so much (I mean he ate 'like 17 bowls' that time at Pizza Hut for God's sake).
Since the day was only partially over, as I had gotten out of school a bit after 11 and Pitch Perfect was about 1 hour and 50 minutes, we decided to have a movie marathon.
Mean Girls, She's The Man, and Legally Blonde followed Pitch Perfect, and in no time at all it was time for dinner.
We all sat around the table, which had 3 extra chairs around it.
My mum had made shake and bake chicken drumsticks with penne and homemade cheese sauce and Caesar salad.
"I hope this is okay," she said nervously.
"Ith good," said Michael, through a mouthful of pasta.
All of the other boys quickly agreed.
She looked relieved.
My mum needn't have worried, for we devoured the supper quickly.
My mum told me that she'd take care of the dishes, so the boys and I ran outside to the bus.
Once settled again, I grabbed my English book in attempt to study, since that was the exam I had the next day.
Calum swiftly grabbed the book from my hands and whisked it away.
"I need to study!" I protested.
"You want to be a writer, for God's sake," Calum said. "You don't need to study English of all things. Your average is probably like 99 or some shit like that."
"It's 98," I retorted. "Now give me the book Calum!"
"No can do," he said.
I looked at Luke pleadingly.
He shook his head with a small smile on his lips. "You don't need to study for this one. You got this, I know it. You can review everything in the morning."
I sighed in defeat. "You guys are probably right," I said. "English is my best subject, I should be okay."
"You'll do great!" Luke assured me, squeezing my shoulder (his arm was around me).
"I sure hope so, otherwise your heads will be on sticks," I said threateningly.
They laughed.
"I'm serious," I said, trying not to giggle.
"Oh I know you are," Luke laughed.
Luke's P.O.V.
Eventually, Paris fell asleep cuddled up with me (she just got more cuddly the more sleepy she got).
I didn't want to wake her up and ruin the expression of peace and serenity on her sleeping face, so I gently removed myself from her grasp, and lifted her up bridal style.
I carried her to my bunk, and put her up there (she had slept on Michael's bunk, which was below mine, the previous night and Michael had crashed on one of the couches but he didn't want to do it again). I crawled up with her and pulled her sleeping figure toward me.
"Goodnight, Paris. Sleep tight," I whispered in her ear.
