Goofing off was what the rest of Thursday wholly consisted of.
I was fully enjoying having no exams to worry about.
Well, now I was worried about my marks rather than the physical taking of them, but that was besides the point.

We went to sleep easily, and woke up early the next morning.

I woke up to Luke tapping my nose repeatedly.
I groaned quietly and opened my eyes. "Huh?"
"IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!" Luke said cheerfully in a loud voice, a childish grin on his face.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Oh, yeah."
Luke pulled me into a bone crushing hug, twisting my back since we were sitting side by side.
"Ow, Luke, my back," I said, muffled by Luke's shirt.
He released me quickly.
I put my hands on my hips and swivelled each way, my back cracking loudly.
Luke looked at me in horror. "You are only 16, right?"
"Newly," I responded calmly, spinning my neck so it cracked too.
"How?" He asked.
I cracked my knuckles and laughed. "Well I was born in-"
"No how are you cracking if you're only 16!" Luke said hysterically.
"Because I have an old soul?" I joked.
"No you're breaking!" Luke cried.
"I'm fine," I assured him with a chuckled.
"For now," he said ominously, but still with a grin.
"Don't be so morbid," I laughed, slapping his chest.
He went cross eyed, and I laughed again.
"Let's wake up the boys, yeah?" Luke asked.
I nodded, and Luke got down before helping me.
We started with Michael, just below Luke.
I opened the curtain and leaned over Michael.
I hooped his nose. "Miiiiiiiiiiikey," I said in a sing song voice.
Nothing.
"Michael?"
Nothing.
"The pizza's here!"
He sat up so fast he hit his head. "Pizza? Where?"
"Good morning," I said cheerfully.
"Where's the pizza?" Michael repeated.
"There is none. I just said that to wake you up," I said informatively.
He gave me a disgusted face.
I blew him a kiss.
"I'm allowed to do what I want today, remember?" I reminded him.
His face lit up. "Oh right! Happy birthday!"
I laughed. "Thanks Mikey."

Luke moved on to Calum, tickling him until he woke up squealing.
"What the H-" Calum started.
"It's Paris's birthday," Luke cut him off.
"Oh yeah!" Calum realized. "Happy birthday!"
I giggled. "Thanks Cal."

I stood on the edge of Calum's bunk, my face about level with Ashton's head on his pillow.
I put my face a couple inches away from his.
"HEY!" I said loudly.
Ashton nearly jumped out of his skin.
He saw me, then groaned and laid back down on his pillow with a sigh. "What'd you do that for?"
"It's my birthday," I reminded him.
"Well happy birthday, but I nearly pissed myself."
Everyone except Ashton went into hysterics.
"It's not funny," he pouted.
"Yes it is," I gasped in between laughs.

After the boys and I were dressed (I wore my I Fancy The Lead Singer shirt and black work out shorts, because I didn't work out so they were basically just comfy shorts), we went into the house, where my parents were waiting.

They had taken the morning off work like always, and had cooked bacon and waffles.

They hugged me happy birthday and sat me and the boys down at the table for breakfast.

A big mound of strawberries and raspberries doused in syrup sat atop my waffle, and bacon sat on the side of the plate just waiting to be dipped in the syrup.

The boys all had the same.

We dug in happily, ploughing through the food.

When we had finished, we made our way to the living room for presents.
Before we could start, Luke ran back out to the bus to grab my present from them.
I decided to open that one first.
It was messily wrapped with green wrapping paper.
I tore open the paper, and pulled away the top of the box.
There was every type of 5SOS merch imaginable in that box; a sweatshirt, multiple t shirts, jewelry, hats, a bag, bandanas, everything I asked for and more.
"OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!" I squealed, hugging Luke who was sitting beside me on the floor.
"Thank you!" I told the guys.
"Least we could do," Luke smiled.
"It's amazing!" I gushed.

"Time for our present," my mum said with a mysterious smile, leaving the room and returning with a big box.
She shoved the box towards me on the floor, and I looked at her curiously.
She just gave me another mysterious smile.

I shrugged and tore open the blue paper, removing the cute little pink bow from the top and placing it in the space beside me.
Upon opening the box, I saw a bright pink suitcase and a big pack of Sharpies.
I gave my mum a weird look, but she just smiled once again and gestured for me to open the suitcase.
I unzipped the suitcase to find a smaller one inside, like a carry on.
I unzipped that one to find an envelope.

I curiously opened the envelope and pulled out two things.
One was a plane ticket to Australia, the other was a print out that said "5 Seconds of Summer: Sounds Live Feels Live!"
I turned the paper over, to find that "have fun!" was written on it.
I looked up, shocked.
"You mean-?" I asked, eyes wide.
"You're coming on tour with us!" Michael cried.
I shrieked, and covered my mouth.
"Seriously?" I said excitedly.
"Happy birthday!" My dad said as if he was going on tour.
"THIS IS AMAZING OH MY GOD!" I cheered.
I jumped up and hugged my parents.
"I love you I love you this is the best present ever!" I squealed.
"You have to keep up with your classes, you'll be taking online school," my mum reminded me. "We're putting a lot of trust in you."
"We would never have let Ryan do something like this," my dad chimed in.
I giggled.
"Mark," my mum warned.
He shrugged. "It is true. Your brother never put much focus on school, up until his Senior year when he realized he needed to find a way to pay the bills," he said.
"You on the other hand," he continued "put a little too much focus on school."
"Having you boys here during exams really was a blessing," my mum said affectionately. "You kept her sane, I'm sure."
"So that's why we trust you'll do your work, but we think it'll be good for you to see the world along the way," my dad finished.
"You'll be leaving on August 3rd," my mum explained. "Because even though the tour doesn't start until September, the boys figured you'd want to spend some extra time in Australia."
I grinned. "This could not be more amazing."
