I just wanted to finish school, and then I had July at home, and then I was going to Australia.
I was also getting my license so holla, I could drive to the bookstore like a grown person.

Monday rolled around quickly, and I was seriously unhappy about that.

I woke up that morning, in my own bed for the first time in quite a while, and sleepily rubbed my eyes.
I sat up stretched, before making my way to my bathroom to have a shower.
Once finished, I dried off and threw my hair into a French braid, pulling it up into a clip.
I slipped on one of Jake's shirts, a red Calgary Flames one (even though I preferred Pittsburg), and a pair of light blue jean shorts.
I brushed my teeth and raced downstairs for breakfast, making a cup of tea while I ate.
Being exceptionally fast, I had some extra time to scroll on tumblr.

One Tumblr minute later it was time to go, so I grabbed my travel mug of still-steeping tea and backpack and headed out the door.

My bus driver was really chill, so I could drink my tea on the bus.

I plopped down in the middle section, earbuds in, tea in hand.

School may have been hell, but it wasn't as bad as it could be.

I mean, exams were over, and we only had a total of 9 days left, so we weren't really doing all that much.

At lunch, I sat with my friends and Jake and his friends, and Jake playfully fed me some of his fries, causing my friends to sigh longingly and his friends to tease him.

Halfway through lunch, a "popular" girl (air quotes because nobody actually liked her) named Jamie came up to me.
"Hey Polly," she said.
I looked up. "There's no one named Polly here," I said, eyebrows furrowed.
"Oh your name's not Polly?" She asked in her annoying high pitched tone.
"We've had 3 classes together every semester for two years. You should know my name," I rolled my eyes.
She looked at me with a mix of confusion and disgust.
"It's Paris," I rolled my eyes again.
"Right, Paris," she said in a fake moment of realization. Either she was tryin go make it look like she didn't know me because she thought she was better, or she actually didn't know me due to the severe lowness of her IQ.
"So I heard 5 Seconds of Summer were at your party," she continued. "You should've told me, I would've came if I knew!"
I wanted to tell her that I didn't want her there anyway and was relieved when she didn't show.
"A ton of people turned out anyway, even though they didn't know, and I didn't want the band to feel uncomfortable, so I kept it quiet," I told her.
"Oh, well, alright," she said snobbishly, turning away.
"What a bitch," Grace said immediately.

The rest of my classes were a blur, and before I knew it I was on the bus home again.

Home sweet home, where I was alone for a few hours before my parents returned.

I did my little amount of homework and watched Supernatural in my room, making edits on my iPad (mini) using like 3 different programs for each one, because I overcomplicated things.

I made myself dinner, and just as I was cleaning up my parents came home.
I went back up to my room to read.

As much as I liked relaxing and having a quiet life, I missed the excitement of hanging with the boys.
