When I make a kick ass Halsey/Michael edit I have to show you guys^
The drive to Melbourne was about 19 hours, plus stops for fuel and food.
We stayed in our bunks, chatting and playing on our phones.
I took advantage of the time, pulling out my laptop and starting on my schoolwork for the first time.
I began with my regular English, since that was my best subject, because I didn't really want to be strained the first day into it.
It was fairly easy, and I finished a couple days' worth in 6 hours.
When I finally finished, I shut my laptop with a sigh.
"Schoolwork, huh?" Luke said, not looking up from his phone.
While I was working the boys had graciously stopped talking so I could focus.
"Yeah," I sighed. "I technically didn't have to start until tomorrow, according to the plan, but I did two days' worth because then I can have tomorrow and the next day off."
"Yeah if you do more than you have to when you have nothing better to do then you can relax and do stuff when you have things to do," Luke agreed. "I've been there."
"Take Me Home Tour," I nodded, pulling my phone back out.
"You're such a fangirl," Luke laughed.
"You love it," I smirked, opening up Temple Run.
"Most of the time," Luke chuckled.
"All the time," I corrected him. "You love it all the time."
"Whatever," Luke laughed, turning to me. "What game are you playing?"
"Temple Run," I answered, not looking up from my game.
"I'm terrible at that game," Calum laughed.
"I'm amazing at it," I said. "Practice I guess. Having no life is good for something."
We all laughed.
"Well you're about to live the life of a rockstar," Ashton commented.
"Parties, red carpets, interviews, concerts, award shows, the works," Michael added.
"I'm invited to all of that?" I asked, shocked.
"Of course. Between the four of us we should get at least one plus one to parties and award shows and red carpets, and even if you're not interviewed you can still be there," Calum answered.
"And the concerts are just a given," Luke reminded me. "You have permanent back stage access."
"I am living every fan's dream," I sighed, flopping back onto my pillows.
They all chuckled.
"Was this your dream once upon a time?" Michael sniggered.
"Um, duh. I was as hardcore as the fans came," I said, like it was obvious. "I saw you guys on the last tour. And maybe I'm even more hardcore now, because I'm actually always with you guys."
"Yeah, you really keep the fam updated, don't you?" Ashton laughed.
" 'I don't understand why it was so important for Michael to inform Ashton that he wants a pet lion but apparently it was' " he said, quoting my latest tweet from an hour ago.
"It's my duty as a member of the 5SOS Fam," I gasped, hand to my heart. "It's like, the rules of feminism." (Quoting Mean Girls like a boss)
"This is more serious than dating an ex?" Luke raised his eyebrows.
"Okay Cady had a right to date Aaron!" I exclaimed, pointing a finger at Luke. "Regina was a bitch and she dumped his hot ass for Shane Owman's also-hot ass so Cady was in the right by pursuing him. I mean seriously, I think if the break up is mutual or if the one person dumps the other and then the friend or person in relation to the dumper, then they have a right to go after the dumpee," I stated.
"I guess that's true," Luke nodded.
My phone dinged.
*@Michael5SOS mentioned you in a tweet*
I clicked on it and swiped, unlocking my phone to see what it said.
"@musiquedeparis is getting passionate about Mean Girls because she thinks Cady wasn't doing anything wrong by liking and going after Aaron." the tweet read.
"Shut the fuck up Michael," I said calmly, clicking off my phone.
"Hey, the fans have a right to know about you too," Michael said.
"But I'm not famous with a fan base, you are," I said. "So it's different."
"Um you might as well be famous," Calum said.
"You're all over the Internet and magazines, and the fans love you, they're basically your fans too," Ashton nodded.
"Really?" I asked.
"Check out the cosmopolitan snap chat discover page if you don't believe us," Luke said.
I gave him a confused look, but once again unlocked my phone, this time choosing snapchat.
I found the Cosmopolitan discover page, and scrolled, suddenly seeing mine and the boys' faces.
"FRIEND OF 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER PARIS HADLEY; HOW TO GET THE LOOK
"Paris Hadley is, if you're one of the few people that are totally out of the Internet loop, the seemingly best friend of band 5 Seconds of Summer. She's sweet, and charming, and gorgeous. Her fashion sense is all her own and spot on, so if you want to dress like Hadley, you've come to the right place!"
"What the hell?" I asked, looking at my phone in shock.
"Keep going!" Luke urged.
I looked back down at the screen.
"Converse: This item is essential in Paris's style. She seems to have countless pairs in a million different colours
Flannels: Plaid flannels, checkered flannels, flannels with words on the back. Paris always looks good in this oversized style.
Graphic tees: Whether it be for a band, book, or movie, Paris loves graphic tees. If she were to put out a line of them, we'd be sure to buy a closet full.
Skinny jeans: Some are black, some are blue, some have rips, some don't; no matter what kind of skinny jeans they are, Paris seems to love them. These are a staple in her style.
Minimal makeup: Paris prefers to go the subtle root, wearing little to no makeup most days. But looking at photos of her at the boys' recent party proves that she can rock heavy eye makeup like a queen.
Messy but chic updos: A ponytail pulled together at the last minute, a messy bun configured in a matter of seconds, a quick French braid to get the job done; all of these styles complete the rocker 'I really don't have time for this' look.
If Paris can look this good wearing simplistic clothes, we can't wait to see her on the red carpet."
I looked up at the boys with wide eyes.
"People wanna look like me?"
They all chuckled.
"Apparently," Calum said.
"And a magazine decided to do an article on it?"
"We told you, you are famous," Luke said.
"Woah," I said. "That's weird."
"I had the same reaction," Michael said.
"We all did," Luke nodded.
"This should be interesting," Ashton laughed. "A famous Paris with a famous us. Front pages everywhere."
"Ugh now I'm gonna have to try and look okay," I groaned.
"Not really, that article was about how you always look," Calum pointed out.
"You're right. That's a relief. I'd trade fame for my converse any day."
"You're weird."
"And proud of it."
A/N: heyyyyyyy so sorry I took so long to update I had school 😔
First day was Tuesday. Then yesterday.
Is it Christmas break yet?
