happy birthday to my sweet sweet cinnamon roll too good for this world none other than kokorofranta :) even though it's not his birthday there but it is here sooooooo sorry not sorry finn

Eventually, we were called back down to watch a movie with the whole family.

Luke and I were supposed to choose, but I told Luke to pick since it was his
headlining tour.
Luke, being who he was around me, chose my favourite at the time, The Internship with Dylan O'Brien (it's not on Netflix but let's say that it is at the point the story is based).
I nudged him with the crown of my head, my whole head already resting on his shoulder as I cuddled up to his arm. "I told you to pick."
"I did pick," Luke replied. "I just decided to pick your favourite.'
I giggled at his cuteness, and nestled my head into the crook of his neck further, searching for the perfect position to rest my head.
He chuckled back, turning his head and blowing on the hair covering my forehead lightly.
I giggled again at the tickling sensation as he hit play, smiling at the choice as Luke pulled the blanket higher over the two of us.
Ben and his girlfriend were crammed on the couch with Liz and Andrew, and Jack's girlfriend was literally on top of him on the chair.
Luke and I had snagged the love seat, allowing me enough room to tuck my legs up if I leant into Luke, which I obviously did.
When you have a best guy friend like Luke, you don't waste an opportunity to cuddle.

The whole movie I was restraining from making comments about how cute Dylan was, because as much as I loved the movie itself, it was about a million times better for me because of Dylan O'Brien.

When the movie was over, Luke hugged Jack, Ben, and their girlfriends goodbye.
I stood awkwardly at the side, twisting my fingers and looking at my toes.
"What are you doing?" Ben asked me.
I looked up. "What do you mean?"
"Why are you just standing there? Give me a hug!" He laughed, holding out his arms.
I smiled nervously, walking into his arms and placing my arms around his waist.
When he let go, Jack was waiting for a hug, which I obliged to.
The girlfriends even gave me hugs, which was kind of weird but at the same time nice because I had only met them a few times.
After Ben, Jack, and their girlfriends had left, Liz and Andrew wanted Luke and I to watch another movie with them, since it was only about 9:30.
We curled up on the love seat again as Liz selected The Breakfast Club, which I loved, and I leaned on Luke's shoulder again and nestled into his side.
Around two thirds of the way through the movie, I started to feel drowsy.
By the three quarter mark, I couldn't keep my eyes open, and I finally succumbed to the pull of sleep.

Luke's P.O.V.

When the movie was almost at the point of almost being over but not quite, Paris's body slowly relaxed into me and her head and neck became void of all tension, telling me that she had fallen asleep.

When the movie was over, I didn't want to wake her, so I picked her up bridal style and stood up, kissing my parents on the cheeks and mounting the stairs with Paris in my arms.
I kicked open the slightly closed door of Paris's barren room, void of all of the cutouts I had taped up one day after seeing a stack of them on her dresser.
I knew that she wanted to put them up to make the room more familiar, but was too nervous.
So I did it for her.
And when she walked in and saw them, she walked back out and peeked her head in just to smile at me.
She must of taken them down that day so she didn't forget the next.
I laid her down on the blankets and was faced with a problem.
She was wearing a high waisted black skirt over shorts, with a loose pink almost crop top hanging over the waist.
It wasn't something you could sleep in.
And yes, I had changed her out of her clothes before, but that was when she was sleeping like a rock. Not stirring every so often.
And that was before I had liked her.
Now... It would feel too rape-y and violating rather than an act of kindness as it was intended.
And as much I enjoyed the fact that her face was once again peaceful in sleep, I had to wake her.
I wiggled her shoulder gently. "Paris?"
Her eyes fluttered open. "Wh-what?"
"You have to get into your pajamas. You fell asleep," I told her.
"Oh," she said, blinking heavily a couple times and sitting up. "Okay. Thanks."
I walked to the door. "I'll see you in the morning?"
She nodded with a small smile. "Goodnight Luke. Thanks for the ride upstairs."
I flashed her a grin. "Anytime."
