(A/N PART 1: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASH XX!!!!)
I woke up to the vibration of Luke's quiet humming against my ear, which was flat on his chest.
I moaned sleepily, and gazed up at Luke through slitted eyes.
"What time is it?" I mumbled.
"9:30," Luke replied.
My eyes shot open.
"We're supposed to be ready by 10!" I screeched, trying to roll off Luke.
He squeezed my waist tighter. "Are you sure you still want to go?"
"I'm heartbroken Luke, not an invalid," I rolled my eyes, finally succeeding in getting off of Luke.
I got out of bed, stretching and yawning.
Luke followed suit, reciprocating my actions of waking up.
I grabbed my little shower basket which was composed of a mini laundry basket filled with shampoo and things like that.
"I've got to shower," I told Luke.
He nodded, and I hurried out of my room.
The last thing I wanted was to be confronted by Jack or Ben.
I went into the bathroom and locked the door behind me.
I set my basket outside of the glass shower door, and turned on the water.
I stripped off my clothes and picked what I needed out of the basket, climbing under the hot water and closing the shower door behind me.
The steam filled the shower and fogged up the glass as I shaved (stupid hot weather) and washed my hair and body.
I didn't sing like I usually did *before*, nor did I cry, but instead simply thought about the trip ahead of me.
All the new places I had been dying to go.
All the new people I would meet.
The lights and the music and the crowds and the happy screams of the fans.
The million people singing along to their songs.
It was going to be amazing.
But there were downsides.
Away from friends and family.
Busy days and busy nights; barely any downtime.
Craziness of travelling constantly.
Anxiety levels always spiked.
I took a deep breath and let it out in attempt to relax as I turned off the water.
I stepped out of the shower onto the mat, squeezing the water out of my hair onto the floor of the shower behind me.
I pulled my hair into one of my towels and dried myself off with the other.
I looked around for my clothes, which I usually brought into the bathroom with me.
I groaned upon realizing that I hadn't even picked out my clothes in my harried rush to get ready.
I wrapped the towel tightly around my body before brushing my teeth and hair.
I situated my towel, holding firmly to the top, as I peeked out of the door of the bathroom, checking for people.
I bolted from the bathroom to my room, shutting the door and locking it from behind me.
I leaned against the back of the door, sighing in relief.
I had made it without being spotted; living in a house full of boys was tough.
I went over to my dresser and picked out a bathing suit, a black and white chevron and Aqua trim tankini with black bottoms.
I dropped my towel and put the bathing suit on, then searched through my drawer for an outfit.
I chose my new white lace tank top and coral coloured shorts, sliding them over top of my bathing suit. (See outfit on my Pinterest)
I plugged my hair dryer into the plug in by my mirror, and dried my hair haphazardly without a brush, using my fingers instead.
Once it was pretty much dry I threw it into a messy bun on the top of my head, and bobby pinned the stray pieces.
I then grabbed my beach bag and put in sunscreen, sunglasses, my wallet, my copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, snorkelling gear, and my camera.
I put on my glasses and rushed down the hall to Luke's room, hastily knocking on the door and being admitted with a quick "come in!"
I entered to see a showered Luke pulling a tank top over his head.
"Almost ready?" I asked.
"Nearly," Luke told me.
My phone dinged from my pocket.
I pulled it out and saw a text from Ashton.
"Be there in 5"
"Ashton just texted me and told me they'll be here in 5 minutes!" I told Luke.
"Shit," Luke cursed, grabbing his sunglasses off of his desk and pushing them up onto his head.
He grabbed my hand and led me out of the room. "Let's go!"
He dragged me down the stairs and into the kitchen, where he got two beach towels from the cabinet and handed them to me to stow them in my bag.
A few minutes later Michael, Ashton, and Calum showed up, and we got into the car with them to head to Bondi.
"It's 48 minutes to Bondi, right?" I asked, climbing into the back, squishing Michael between me and Luke.
"Correct," Ashton replied from the driver's seat.
"Did you just happen to know that too?" Cal smirked from shotgun.
"No," I answered. "I googled it last night."
A/N PART 2: comedic ending for once, yay!!!
So I said that I would say how old I was and I am indeed 13 years old as the people who know me commented. *Teenagers by My Chemical Romance plays in the background*
