I woke to pictures of us from the beginning of the night all over, from gossip magazines to Twitter.
The boys were all super hungover, and didn't get up till after noon.
They all complained when I sang and danced around both rooms while waiting for room service.
I was still being Mom Friend™ to them, running around getting them aspirin and water and cuddling them."Paris?" Luke groaned around 5pm.
"Yes, Lucas? Do you need more aspirin?"
"No," he assured me. "Did- did I... say anything last night?"
"Like what?" I asked, confused.
"I dunno," he shrugged. "Anything weird."
"Well you said I looked really pretty, does that qualify?" I chuckled.
"Kind of," Luke smiled weakly. "But you did."
I scoffed. "It was the red lipstick and the sweetheart neckline talking."
"No!" Luke assured me. "You looked pretty. You always look pretty."
"And here I was thinking it was just the booze talking when you said that last night," I joked, blushing pink.
"Drunk words, sober thoughts, right?" Luke said.
"I guess so."---------
*1 week later (3rd Person)*
Paris was exhausted, fairly collapsing into my bunk on the tour bunk after the show. They had to be on our way to London since it was a long drive and they had a show two days from then.
Her back was aching and her head hurt, and she felt sick.
"Are you ill?" Luke had asked her as he held her hand on the way to the bus.
"I don't know, but I feel awful," Paris confessed.
"Well get some sleep," he said.
"I'll try."She fell asleep after a half hour of tossing and turning feeling like utter rubbish, contemplating why she felt so terrible.
Paris woke up around 3 am and found her answer; she was surrounded by a pool of blood.
She immediately began crying, unable to control her emotions at that point.
Luke woke up the second the tears left her eyes; it was almost as though he had a sixth sense when it came to her.
"Paris?" He whispered. "What's wrong?"
Paris just continued to cry.Luke got down off of his bunk and stood next to Paris's.
"Paris, babe, what's wr- OH MY GOD!" He said, noticing the blood. "OH MY GOD YOU'RE BLEEDING WHAT HAPPENED!"
Paris cried louder.
Luke ran to Calum's side and shook his shoulder.
"Calum! Paris's bed is covered in blood and she's crying and I don't know what's wrong!" Luke whisper yelled.
Calum's eyes cracked open, and he immediately guessed the problem.
He crawled out of bed and walked towards Paris.
Once he saw her, he knew.
"What do you think happened? Did her appendix burst or something?" Luke worried.
"Jesus fuck, Luke," Calum groaned. "She's on her period."
Luke's eyes widened and he fell silent. He'd only even had brothers, he knew nothing about this.
"Ashton," Calum called.
"What?" Ashton replied groggily.
"Come help me."
"What's happening?"
"Paris just began her period and she's crying."
"Poor girl."
Ashton got out of bed and stood beside Calum in front of Paris's bunk.
By this time, Michael was awake and observing the situation with a concerned eye; he had never had any siblings.
Luke stood off to the side, looking worried.
"It's okay, Paris," Ashton said, holding her hand.
"B-but I made a mess!" Paris wailed.
"It's not a big deal," Calum said soothingly. "We'll get it cleaned up. Don't worry about it."
Paris just cried some more.
"Is there anything I can do?" Luke asked.
"Yes actually," Ashton replied. "Get Paris new underwear, new pants, and find her lady bag out of her luggage."
Luke nodded and set to work trying to find the items.
"In the meantime," Ashton said to Paris. "We're gonna get you cleaned up, little lady."
Ashton lifted Paris easily off of her bunk and into the bathroom, where he took off her T shirt and pants and started a nice warm shower.
"I'll be just outside, okay?" Ashton said. "Call me if you need anything. When you're done, call me and I'll bring you your stuff alright? Everything is gonna be okay."
Paris nodded, tears still in her eyes, as Ashton closed the door with a comforting smile. While Ashton was helping Paris into the shower, Calum was stripping the bed and remaking it with fresh sheets.
Calum and Ashton collected the soiled things and put them in a bag so they could soak them in hot water afterwards.
Luke had found Paris's things, and set them folded in a neat pile on the clean bunk.
After 20 minutes, Paris called for Ashton weakly, and Ashton brought her a towel and her things.
When she re-emerged from the bathroom with her wet hair in a French braid and red eyes, she looked embarrassed.
When she spotted the clean bunk, she started crying again.
"What's wrong? Why is she crying again?" Luke whispered urgently.
"Relax, dude," Calum told him. "Periods mess with girls' emotions."
Ashton turned back the bed and effortlessly lifted Paris into the bunk and covered her back up.
"Calum's going to wash everything up right now, so everything will be clean for tomorrow," Ashton told her.
"Thank you guys so much for everything," Paris whispered.
"You took care of us last week after we chose to get pissed drunk," Ashton reminded her. "It's the least we could do to take care of you during something you can't help."
Paris sniffled. "You're like the older brother I never had."
"You have an older brother," Michael chimed in.
"Not one that cared," Paris smiled weakly.
"Well I care. And so does Calum. We'll be your honorary older brothers. We both have sisters so we'll be really good at it," Ashton told her.
Paris smiled sleepily. "Thanks Ashton."
"Anytime, kiddo," he replied, kissing her forehead and closing the curtain to her bunk. After the boys were all settled into their bunks once again.
"It's times like this that I remember that she's only 16," Michael commented.
"She always seems to have it together and like she could be married with kids, but at times like these she seems so small and vulnerable," Calum agreed.
"I wish I could have helped more," Luke confessed.
"You couldn't have known what to do," Ashton reassured him. "Calum and I know what to do because of Lauren and Mali. It's not like Ben and Jack get periods."
"Still," Luke said. "I hate seeing her in distress."
"That's cause you're in love with her"
"I know."A/N: I've had this idea for so long because it's realistic and no one ever talks about it on movies or in books so yeah
I practically broke my back writing this because I had to bend over bc my iPad was plugged in
