Ashley

I wake up in the same country I wanted to. In the same room I wanted to. And in the same house I wanted to. Next to the same person I have wanted to for the past year.

I haven't felt this much at home as I am now for twelve months. I knew while in England there was a void in my heart and it seems to have been filled.. Like I've started my life fresh and new.

It seems like I haven't been this happy to wake up in quite some time now.

"Baby?" Luke asks in his morning voice.

"Good morning Lukey" I reply and kiss him. "Lets do something today.."

He chuckles, "Arent you sprightly this morning"

"I just feel so... I feel so happy." I say smiling wide.

He grins seeing me so happy. "We can do whatever you want to do.. Whatever it is we can do it"

I tap my chin thinking about what to do until the perfect idea comes to mind. "What if we went to the zoo?" I ask excited.

"Yeah that would be fun!" He shares my excitement. "And you know the best part about it?"

I nod, "Gibbons"

He squinted at me confused, "I was going to say penguins but, sure that's cool too" He chuckled

I look at the map we were supplied with. "We just finishd the.. Australian walkabout so that takes us to the-"

Michael cuts me off by yelling at a sign reading Kids Trail.

"Mikey, that's one of hour of walking around animals like Kangaroos and Emu's that you can see just being in the country" Luke laughs reading off the map.

He pouts "but, there are... uh, really cool things there like.. you know those animals and all" he struggled to find the words.

Calum tried to help him out but, his words came out even more staggered.

"Really? You sure you just don't want to go to the playground they have?" I ask smirking.

They both scoff like I was talking madness. "No.. I really wanted to see the um- Tasmanian Devil alright Calum let's go" Mikey said slightly reading off the map.

They separate themselves to go play around with four year olds while Luke, Ashton and I do what we came here to do and see the different animals.

"Otters!" I clap my hands out of excitement.

Ashton looked across the pathway not to excited to see the otters but, got hella excited when he saw the gibbons.

Admittedly, I freaked out too. They're so ugly but, that's what makes them cute.

Luke reads off the information chart what their names are. "This one is Blakely" He points to the girl. "And this here is Gurth"

I think about the girls name. Something about it just sat right with me. "Blakely" I trail off looking at Luke with a grin.

"What?" He asks amused.

"Isnt it pretty?"

He wraps his hand around mine. "Yes, it is"

"Guys" Ashton chuckles pointing out a sign for the penguins exhibit.

"Babe. Babe. Babe babe babe babe. Guys! Oh my" Luke freaks out getting excited.

"You've been here before and have seen them! Why are you so gobsmacked?" Ashton asks holding Luke's shoulder to practically stop him from jumping up and down.

"No.. You don't understand" He grabbed the VANS backpack hanging from his back and took out a stuffed penguin.

I glanced at both of them for an answer. They just stared at the penguin like it held the key to cure all the troubles in the world.

"Welp, I'm bored anyone want to play a fun game called 'Elaboration'?"

Both of their glances switched to me.

"You don't know?" Luke asked questionable.

"Ooh, she doesn't know" Ashton added parted his lips adding a dramatic gasp.

"Know what?"

"Pengy? This little guy?" He holds it in his arms like it's a baby and says it the squealest voice "He's been my buddy forever"

"So, you and Pengy about to share this dear moment, yeah?"

"Indeed"

"Well, let's rock this shit then" Ashton said leading us where the sign pointed.

Michael POV

"Aren't you too old to be at the kids playground?" I hear a little voice behind me before I go down the slide.

I stood back with him and croutched down so the other kids could go "No, I'm actually six at heart but, on the outside I'm much older"

He about shouted to the top of his lungs, "You're from the future?!"

"Sure am" I decided to play along for both or our amusements.

"Am I a professional football player?" He asks going lowkey crazy.

"What's your name?"

"Jimmy Hudges"

I pretend to be star stuck as he told me who he was. "What? You're my favorite player on Fifa in the future, man!"

His expression was priceless. His dimples sunken in from smiling was absolutely adorable.

"Can I have your autograph? For when I go back to the future?"

He happily grabbed the crayon I accidentally took from the arts and crafts table and signed a napkin I had spare.

"Thank you so much man. Train really hard, and love what you do, that's what will take you over the top" I tell him then, I walked towards the bathrooms where Calum was.

When I spotted him washing his hands, I ran towards the sink and told him about Jimmy.

He didn't think that it was as amazing as I did. I mean, I made a little kids day with a lie.

That's not awesome?

"Do you want to meet back up with them?" Calum asked referring to Ash, Ashton and Luke.

"Yeah sure" I replied pulling my phone out of the front pockets of my pants.

I called Ashley just because, she was the closest on my caller ID.

"Mikey?" She answered.

"Where are you dudes at?"

"Penguins. Might not want to come by just yet, Luke is currently going through a tirade because, the sanctuary is closed today"

"Thanks for the heads up. When he's calmed down a bit, meet us at the food stands, okay?"

"Aye aye"
