3rd person's pov
As the group continued their hike through the forest, Hoseok felt a wave of dread pass through his body making him cringe as he rubbed his chest, something that he always did when he felt this way. Jin noticed his actions but didn't say anything, in case, Hoseok wouldn't want to talk about whatever was bothering him. Jimin saw Hoseok's facial expression, a frown starting to form as he walked beside the Guardian Angel. "Hobi, you okay?" Jimin asked, stepping closer to him slightly. "Something's off... I don't know what it is but something is going to happen and it's not necessarily a good thing." Hoseok replied, he didn't want to make it obvious to the group that he was feeling like that. He wanted to make sure that nobody panicked, that his words would not rile up anybody's anxiety. They had already been through so much in the last ten days than most people have. The group had been walking for almost four hours, and even though Elizabeth was starting to get tired, she kept pressing on. She wanted to cover as much ground as possible, tingles shot up her spine making her shudder which didn't go unnoticed by Yoongi. He hesitated for a moment before gathering the courage to actually say something, he figured that Elizabeth needed someone to ask questions that nobody else was asking.
"Hey, Liz... Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"No, don't give me the same bullshit answer you've been giving everyone else." Elizabeth looked at Yoongi, slightly shocked at his statement.
Yoongi let out a sigh, "Look, I'm not usually good at this... The only person I can actually talk to on this level is Hoseok. All I want is for you to give me the real answer. Are you really okay? We've been through a lot within the past two weeks." Yoongi's tone suggested he was being sincere, Elizabeth looked down at her hands and sighed. She hadn't expected Yoongi to ask her this kind of question, she knew that he cared about her in some form but he didn't really express it.
"I.. I don't know, Yoongi. I.. There's been so much happening that I haven't fully processed any of it. I've barely come to terms with the amount of near death experiences I've had. All I want to do is get my big brother back safely. I'm scared of the possibility that he might get killed before I even have the chance to see him."
"... I know there isn't much I can say that will cheer you up, but there are two people in this group that could give you some advice. And Jin hyung can relate to your predicament better than I can... What I can say.. Is that I will do everything I can to help you get your brother back." Yoongi said, his eyes held a sincerity that Elizabeth had only seen him express towards Hoseok. "You know... I have come across all kinds of humans, those who cower away, steal and kill for money and things so stupid that I can't help but despise all humans... But you, you're different. I have never met a human girl such as you, who stops at nothing to save the people that she loves. You are a strong, incredibly kind and slightly naive-"
"Hey!"
"Adorable Human." Yoongi smiled, Elizabeth felt her cheeks heat up as she looked at Yoongi. Her heart thudded in her chest and for the first time, Elizabeth felt a sense of closeness to Yoongi that she hadn't felt before. "I have no doubt that you will be able to get through all of this and come out stronger because of it." He finished. Taehyung, who had overheard their conversation chuckled to himself and slipped behind the two, who didn't realize that he had been standing there.
"Did you just call Elizabeth adorable?" Taehyung chuckled.
"Jeez."
"What the-"
"Tae, how many times have I said don't sneak up on me like that?!" Elizabeth exclaimed, slapping his arm harshly. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it."
"Couldn't help it, my ass." Yoongi cursed, "Stop being stupid." Yoongi smacked Taehyung on the back of the head, making him hiss in pain while Elizabeth stifled a laugh. "Hyung, what was that for?" Taehyung frowned, rubbing the spot Yoongi hit. "Because you were eavesdropping on a serious and private conversation." Yoongi answered.
