Do you remember? What it was like the night we met?

Eileen Goldberg. Lover of baggy clothing and smoothies. She was known to be the loner, which wasn't true, the kids just thought she was a loner because she didn't know anyone and she didn't want to bother them. The only friend she had was Demetri. And Eli but those two didn't talk as much but that didn't make them any less friends.

Eileen's mom, Kelli, was always there for her. She had Eileen at a pretty young age, causing her parents to call her a disgrace and kicked her out of the house. Kelli, being the strong rebel she was decided she was better off without them and went on her way and rented an apartment.

Kelli quickly found a job, working at a small restaurant before quickly moving up to the top. Before she knew it, Kelli was opening the restaurant that she created herself, Eileen being her number one supporter.

Eileen unfortunately was bullied like her two friends. Before she moves she was teased because of her retainer and acne. She got teased specifically by Yasmine, with Moon laughing at what she said, or Sam, who looked the other way.

Eileen was diagnosed with tachycardia during her first few weeks of high school. Tachycardia is an autoimmune disorder that causes your heart, when it beats too fast, to not pump enough blood to your organs, which causes a lack of oxygen.
She had done the pacer and she was quickly sent to the nurse because of her rapid pulse rate, which Yasmine made fun of her for that as well.

She was taken to the hospital where one of the doctors diagnosed her with the disorder. Eileen was worried to go back to school, worried about what the people at her school would think.

Luckily for Eileen, her mom was a very busy woman, who was opening a restaurant from a different side of California, giving her a chance to rest and be away from the bullying. She couldn't help but miss Demetri and Eli however, they were supposed to finish high school together.

Kelli got a call months later, her restaurant needed a makeover, so they packed their things and decided to go back to the valley during the summer before her junior year.
