Zoe://

I walked back into the house and leant against the sofa, my lips were sore from all the kisses, but still begging for Alfie's touch. I miss him and it's only been 5 minutes.
"Zoë?" My mum shouted from the kitchen,
"Yeah!" I replyed,
"Can you get some milk and a bag of sugar from the shop please?"
I let out a big sigh.
"Yeah" I hastily answered.
I took some change of the side and slammed the front door. The shop was down the road about 8 minutes away but really... I couldn't be bothered.
******
I was on my way back from the shop and I could see mine and Alfie's houses in the distance.
On my left there was a park, it had just finished being redone and it looked so modern now.
To be honest I preferred it before but I guess it's more 'fun' now. Currently it was empty, I had no idea why as it was a Saturday and usually full to the brim.
"Hey Zoe" a familiar voice spoke behind me. I knew immediately who it was. Joe Weller.
I froze. Oh my god. Do I run? Do I say something back?
"H-hi?" I stuttered back.
"Are you okay? You look scared?" He muttered as he placed his hand on my arm and looked me in the eyes.
"I'm ... I'm fine Joe" I said, relaxing slightly.
Maybe he did like me? What if he wasn't just using me, like every other girl?
"Why are you so on edge Zo?"
No... He can't call me 'Zo'. But I think he's generally being nice.
"I'm not" I forced a smile.
"I really need to talk to someone Zoe" he whispered.
He looked genuinely hurt. I could see it as I stared back into his eyes.
"Okay" I spoke, using a genuine sympathetic smile this time.
He slide his hand down my arm and grabbed onto my hand, just like Alfie did the second time we met.
I didn't like it and tried to pull away, but he had a tight grip.
******
We were sat underneath a climbing frame, pretty much out of sight. We had been talking about his new house and about everything and he seemed like a whole different person now.
Apart from the fact I had to put on an act, it was really nice to be honest.
But it wasn't the same as with Alfie. I wasn't being the real me here.
Out of the blue he leant forward and pushed me up against the back of a ladder at the bottom of the climbing frame.
"Your hot Zoë" he whispered whilst beginning to kiss my neck.
I pushed him off. I didn't want this. I love Alfie.
"No Joe!"
"Why not" he smirked, "nobody can see us Zo".
"I don't care who can see us!" I cried,
But before I had a chance to run, his lips were back onto mine, his hands attempting to unclip my bra.
My attempt of pushing him away was failing and I was leant back as far away as I could go.
I was struggling around but still firmly in his grip.
The next thing I knew Joe had been pushed down to the floor and I was being cradled in somebody's strong arms.
Alfie.
He saved me from Joe.
But I couldn't let him find out about us.
I grabbed Alfie by the wrist and pulled him out of underneath the climbing frame. He had a dog with him, who was sat next to a bench. It was a baby black pug. He scooped her up and kissed her head whilst pulling me into his chest.
"This is Nala" he whispered, as he stared into my eyes.
A tear rolled down my cheek.
"She's beautiful" I cried.
"Did he hurt you baby?" He spoke as he cuddled me closer to him.
"Just my back from being pushed against the bars and my wrist hurts to" I murmered.
He pushed down my sleeve and revealed my wrist, I didn't dare look, that was until I heard him gasp. I glanced downwards and mirrored his gasp as I saw that my wrist saw swollen to the size of a gold ball.
"I'm taking you home gorgeous, come on" he said with a worried look on his face.
"I'm fine" I muttered.
"Zoe, I'm sorry" I heard a voice shout in the far distance behind us both.
"Fuck off Joe" Alfie yelled.
"Leave her alone!" He continued.
"He won't touch you Little one... Let's go home" he spoke as he pressed his lips up against my head.
I clasped wrist tight with my other hand and Alfie walked me up the path.
I kissed Nalas head, followed by Alfie's lips as he pushed open my front door. He waved good bye and walked back to his. I then broke down in tears and crouched down with my head in my knees, still clutching at my wrist.
"Zo!" My brother shouted,
Charlie came and sat next to me whilst Joseph ran to get mum. Charlie looked me in the eye and then nursed my wrist. He smiled at me then moved out the way to let my mum sit there.
"ZOË!" She shouted to me, "what's happened?" I continued crying.
"What happened to you?" My brother cried whilst squeezing his eyes tight.
"I- I just fell" I stuttered.
"we're taking you to hospital" she started.
I can't even remember where I put the milk and sugar in the end, I think I dropped it when I was talking to him.
My Mum and Charlie pulled me up and I hobbled along to the car, still balling my eyes out.
"I'm so sorry" I whispered as i sat in the front on the car, leant against my mums shoulder.
"It's okay, let go get that wrist checked out and then once you have calmed down your going to have to tell us or me everything...okay??"
"Okay??" I sniffed.
