So it was about 4oclock on a Sunday. I had nothing to do so I decided on photography. As always.
I grabbed my mint coloured Polaroid and slung my grey jacket over my petite shoulders and walked out my door.
I got approximately half way down my road before it started to spit with rain. Why does it always do this to me? However, I carried on walking though. I didn't mind the rain that much, so I resulted to pull my cardigan hood up and paced down to the beach.

I was sat under an old bus shelter. Whilst looking around my surroundings, I clasped eyes on a hill that ventured far into the distance, way past my little village.
Being the curious person I am, I got up and began to follow paths towards the hill.
Taking path after path I finally reached the bottom of it. I looked up and it wasn't to steep, I then looked down at my mud covered white converse and sighed.
"They're already muddy, so why does it matter now?" A voice spoke, behind me.
I screamed at the top of my voice, as I sharply turned round to reveal a boy. He looked strangely familiar. I bowed my head and attempted to look underneath his hood.
He whipped it down and stood there letting the rain drip onto his face.
"Alfie?" I whispered,
"Sorry...I was just wondering if you were going to walk up there or stand contemplating if your shoes are going to get any muddier if you do...?" He smirked.
"I... Um..." I stuttered,
What is he doing here? I didn't even know he lived in this village!
"Do you know how to walk up a hill? Do you want me to show you?" He grinned.
"Your actually quite confident compared to at school. Aren't you?" I stated, suddenly gaining some confidence.
"I thought you would have guessed!" He laughed.
"Why are you here? No offence..." I smiled.
"I saw you walk past my house and decided to come and see you as I couldn't really think about much else since the hot or not video..." He blushed a light shade of red.
"What do you mean?"
"Zoe, you went bright red when my name appeared and you said I was alright!"
I didn't have to say anything, as he must of noticed my full face of red in front of him.
"Come with me" he grinned,
"What...? Okay, I guess" but he was already pulling me along with him.
"Question?"
"Yes"
"Where are we going Alfie?"
"Somewhere dry"
"Oh okay great" I replied whilst he loosened his grip on my arm and slid it down towards his side, but I grabbed it first. This left us having awkwardly linked fingers, which led to him clutching onto my hand covering it.
"Your freezing Zoe" he said as I felt him staring at our linked hand.
"I know" I pouted and squeezed our hands.
He looked at me, straight in the eyes. I looked up at met his gaze. He smiled then quickly looked away, as I continued to study his features.
