Lloyd

When the police came into the classrooms, Lloyd knew something was fishy. An officer had burst into the room during his math class. Standing up Lloyd tried to leave in order to change into his gi, but the officer stopped him and assured him that the ninja would have the shooters arrested in minutes. Lloyd sighed and sat back down, hoping the others would take care of it. He glanced to the door and saw Kai run past the door with yelling in the distance. Lloyd shook his head and went back to focusing on the lesson being taught.

"In this particular equation you can see the solution by-" The teacher explained.

Lloyd, however, was uninterested at the moment and his mind wandered to Kai. Kai had always intrigued him, but he knew quite well that though the guy sometimes needed back up, Kai was a loner. He did everything alone. Lloyd had once tried to be friends with him, only to be pushed aside. Lloyd didn't understand him, and from then on kept his distance unless he thought it was necessary to intervene.

Unlike Kai, Lloyd had plenty of friends. He would hang out with Zane, Pixal, and Nya every once in a while, but he usually just enjoyed meeting new people and hanging with strangers. Being the lovable social kid, he didn't have many enemies. However, he was a huge obstacle to the bullies. He took it upon himself to defend people from guys like Morro, whom Lloyd had plenty of experience with.

"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, I asked you a question." The teacher said firmly.

Lloyd came back to himself and shook his head, "What?" He asked.

A few of the kids snickered and others tried to hide their smiles.

"I'm so sorry, teacher. I zoned out on an accident. What did you ask?" Lloyd replied. The teacher sighed and gave in to Lloyd's manners.

"I asked you, Lloyd, what the similarity between this equation and this equation is." The teacher said, pointing to each.

Lloyd glanced at the board and did the math in his head until he figured it out. "Wouldn't the similarity be the formula?" Lloyd asked with a small smile.

The teacher nodded in affirmative and gave him a smile. "That is correct Lloyd, now continuing-"

After math Lloyd headed to lunch. After he grabbed his lunch bag he rushed to the bench where Nya and Pixal were discussing something.

"Hello girls, what is up?" Lloyd asked with his childish grin.

Nya gave him a small smile. "Well, me and Pixal are writing a paper on space travel and the teacher asked us to talk about how we would improve space travel for the future." Nya explained.

"How would you do that?" Lloyd asked.

Pixal turned to Lloyd, "Well first you'd want to improve the stability of the spaceship so it can have better flight. Second, you'd probably want the engine to be as advanced as possible so that the speed and acceleration would increase, and on top of that you'd probably want to have indoor crops, air conditioning, gravity, rooms, oxygen, and bathrooms in order that you could live as long as possible without supplies from Earth." Pixal explained.
