Zane
Zane stayed focus on the card game until Kai and Cole walked in. They both looked kind of drained, but Zane pushed it aside. He was probably just imagining it.
"Welcome." Zane greeted.
Cole smiled, "Hey Zane." Cole replied.
Jay stood up and walked over to Cole. "Nice to see you." Jay stated with a grin.
Cole laughed, "No." Cole answered as the two boys hugged. "Glad to see you're doing better." He added.
Jay snorted, "Oh please. Like I'd let some sickness get the best of me." Jay declared with sarcasm.
Then Jay turned to Kai. "Nice to meet you, Kai. I'm Jay Walker as you probably know." Jay stated with an outstretched hand.
Kai nodded, "I remember you. The little blue freckle boy who needed my assistance on the first day of school." Kai joked.
Zane raised his eyebrows. Kai was continuing to surprise him in the strangest ways.
Jay laughed, "We're going to get along great. Thanks for that by the way." Jay answered.
Kai smiled, "No problem." He replied.
Jay's mouth opened for a second, but he quickly closed it. "Didn't know you could smile, man." Jay stated blankly.
"Oh please." Kai rolled his eyes and pretended to be annoyed.
Jay laughed, "Ok, well...LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" Jay shouted.
Misako walked in. "Please keep it down Jay." She stated, then she saw Kai and froze. A smile rose to her face and she nodded at him. Kai nodded in return.
Jay smiled sheepishly as Nya laughed, "Maybe keep it down yeah?" She asked.
Jay nodded and laughed.
"Ok well how about we start off with some video games?" Jay suggested.
Lloyd held an expression that said, "I knew he'd say that."
Zane nodded at Jay. "Why not?" Zane asked.
Zane glanced over at Nya and Kai who were talking in the corner. Then he looked back to see Jay marching into Lloyd's room. Zane shrugged and followed with Lloyd and Cole close behind.
By the time Zane stepped into the room Jay had already set everything up. "How did...?" Lloyd asked with a confused expression, but he apparently changed his mind and fell silent. Zane couldn't blame him. Jay seemed to be capable of many things that seemed inhuman or unbelievable. He was a unique kid and it's just best to not question how he does things. That'd just make it all more confusing. The fact that Jay was a ninja was even more confusing for Zane. Not that he didn't like the kid, but he never expected Wu to choose Jay for the job. He was impulsive and a jokester. He never took anything seriously, and when he did it never ended well.
Zane shook his head and decided to not dwell on it too much. If he overthought, it he'd overheat his brain. If that was even possible...Zane didn't actually know. Sometimes he kind of wished he were a robot or something, that way he'd be able to know the answers to most of his questions.
Jay stood up and shut the door.
"Um...Kai and Nya are still out there." Zane stated in confusion.
Jay nodded, "I know. That's why I'm shutting it. Now Cole, speak up. You don't usually go around offering to pick up guys and walk them places." Jay answered as he glared at Cole.
