Hey guys sorry about the last chapter. I was dry of ideas for Zane, so I just improvised. P.S. I may fall behind on this book because of my exams next week. I will do my best to keep up my speed in the publishing, but I can't make any promises. That's all, enjoy!

Nya

The rest of the evening went pretty fast and soon it was around nine o-clock. That was when Nya remembered the meeting.

"Oh shit. Lloyd, I have to go now." Nya stated after a moment.

"Yeah, I do too." Cole added.

Lloyd looked around at everyone and nodded, "That's cool. It's getting late anyways and there's school tomorrow so...see you tomorrow?" Lloyd asked.

Jay nodded, "See ya later Lloyd. Same goes for all of you." Jay stated with his usual grin.

Nya thought that Jay's grin was adorable. He was always so positive and funny and sweet...Nya really enjoyed being around him.

Nya turned to Kai, "Um... I know that you probably need to get back, but I was wondering if you wanted to come meet my parents? They really want to meet you." Nya stated with a nervous smile.

Kai nodded at her and loosed her a smile. Nya still thought it was the strangest thing to see him smile after so long.

"Sure. I have some time." Kai replied. Nya noticed that Kai glanced over at Cole who was smiling at Kai. Nya tried not to laugh when a small blush came to Kai's face. It was funny seeing him flustered over something as small as a smile.

Nya walked over to the front door, waving at the others in the process. "See ya!" Nya called as she and Kai walked out.

"So, I know it's been...a long time. We never really talked much aside from what we remember from our past together. W-what happened after I left?" Nya asked slowly. She knew she had to be careful with how she proceeded. Though Kai was her brother, they had only just been reunited. She knew that she would have to rebuild their closeness.

Nya frowned when Kai's expression hardened, and his eyes narrowed. "Of course, if you're not comfortable with talking about that you don't have to." Nya added.

Kai relaxed and he nodded, "Thanks." Kai stated. He fell silent and then he glanced over at her. "What about you? Are your...parents treating you well?" Kai asked.

Nya noticed that his shoulders were tense and she smiled, realizing that his big brother instincts were kicking back in for the first time in years. "Yes, they're really nice. I also have a little brother..." Nya answered. She trailed off, realizing that the news could possibly hurt Kai.

Kai apparently noticed her look and chuckled. "Listen sis, you don't need to worry about me. I may not have the best life, but I'm fine. I've survived this long. Just because you had better luck doesn't mean I'll get jealous. I'm glad you're happy with your life." Kai stated with a smile.

Nya turned and hugged him. "Thanks Kay Kay." Nya muttered in his ear as they embraced.

She felt Kai relax and hug her tightly. "I really missed you, you know." Nya stated as tears started to form in her eyes.

"Missed you too." Kai answered. Then he pulled back. "So what's this little brother's name?" Kai asked.

Nya smiled. "His name is Kato. He's four and a half.  He's a sweet little guy, but quite curious. He's also super into dinosaurs. " Nya answered.
