Chapter 17

Nya

Nya sighed as she walked out of her house to breath in the fresh air, well if you could even call it fresh air with the pollution drifting around. She realized she'd like a camping trip in the mountains in the summer or something, the air would be really clean then. Like even the beach would work; plus, she loved water. 

Nya slowly began walking towards the restaurant where the others would be waiting. She decided to leave early so Lloyd wouldn't get lonely. The sun was high in the sky by now and Nya noticed how much the atmosphere had been warming up recently. It wasn't winter anymore, that was for sure. When Nya arrived at the restaurant she began heading to the back where Lloyd had said he was at. 

Nya soon spotted him and waved, "Hey Lloyd!" Nya said as she walked to sit down.

"Oh, hey Nya!" Lloyd replied with a smile. He put his phone down and looked up at her. "What's up?" He asked. 

"Oh, nothing much. How long have you been here for?" Nya replied with a tilt of her head.

"Ah, about fifteen minutes." Lloyd answered. "Got kinda boring after a bit so I just was chilling while playing Clash of Clans." Lloyd added.

Nya's eyebrows shot up, "You play too? Could I get your tag so I can friend you?" Nya asked suddenly.

Lloyd grinned, "You bet!" 

The two exchanged profiles tags and friended one another.

"We should make a clan for the six of us." Lloyd suggested after a moment.

Nya nodded, "We totally should. What would we call it?" Nya answered.

"Hmmm." Lloyd muttered. He seemed to space out for a moment then looked back at Nya. "I have no idea." He stated blankly.

Nya laughed and opened her clan castle. She started designing the flag and rules of the clan. "Ok, all we need is the name now." Nya declared as she looked back at Lloyd who was absorbed in his game. "What are you doing?" Nya asked curiously as she leaned over to get a good look at his phone. 

Lloyd stared at his screen but answered, "I'm in the middle of a battle and am strategically planning on how I can blow this village to the dust from which it came." Lloyd declared with confidence.

Nya looked down and frowned, Lloyd was attacking her village. "Lloyd. Why are you attacking my village?" Nya asked with a death glare at Lloyd. 

"Reasons. Plus, I'm broke and need gold." Lloyd replied. Lloyd kept his eyes on his phone and didn't even notice Nya's glare.

Nya smirked and decided to attack Lloyd once her forces recovered from his attack. 

Lloyd sighed and looked up at Nya sadly and with defeat. "I have to admit, your village is strong. I only got forty-seven percent of your village destroyed with only one star." Lloyd stated. 

Nya smiled, "I've been playing this game for a while so that may have something to do with it. Or I'm just smart and good at my defense." Nya answered with a mischievous smile.

Nya glanced over and saw Zane walking towards them. 

"Hey Zane!" Nya called. 

Zane smiled and walked over, taking a seat next to Nya. "Hello guys. How are you?" Zane asked them. 

Lloyd shrugged, "Good how about you?" Lloyd asked. 

Zane smiled, "I'm good." He said slowly. It was obvious whatever he was thinking about, he was enjoying it. 

"Did you ask Pixal out yet?" Nya asked suddenly.

Zane blushed and looked away, "What?! No!" Zane exclaimed, flustered. 

Nya chuckled, "Yeah, ok, I totally don't believe you." Nya stated.

Zane sighed, "Ok, well maybe we hung out last night." Zane admitted with a smile.

Both Nya and Lloyd leaned in as if asking for details. 

"I'm not telling you anymore than necessary so don't get excited. We just went for a walk and went out for dinner, that's all." Zane said blankly, though a faint blush was still evident.

Nya grinned, "Oh my god Zane, I'm so happy for you!" Nya declared almost in a shout. A few people turned to look at them and Nya shrunk back into her seat. "Eheheh, sorry bout' that." Nya muttered. 

Lloyd looked at her. "Nah you're good." Lloyd replied with a wink. 

Zane glanced at his watch. "Don't you think Cole and Kai should be here by now? If Kai's even coming that is?" Zane asked. It was five till twelve and Cole was usually quite punctual. 

"I'm sure they'll be here soon. Cole might be so stubborn as to drag Kai over here, so I'd say that may take some time." Nya answered.

"Or Cole just slept in again." Lloyd added.

"Well, I sure hope not. We need to be done with lunch by 1:30." Zane replied.

"Calm down Zane. I'm sure they'll be here in a bit. Just relax." Nya stated with a reassuring smile. Then she frowned, "Hey Zane, do you by any chance play Clash of Clans?" Nya asked.

Zane smiled, "I do in fact play that. What about it?" Zane asked.

"Well, me and Nya are going to make a clan and have the six of us join together." Lloyd answered.

Zane nodded and pulled out his phone. "Ok, what's the clan called?" Zane answered with a questioning look.

"Yeahhhhh, we haven't figured that out yet." Nya stated with a nervous smile.

Zane sighed, "Lemme guess, you need my help?" Zane asked. 

Lloyd and Nya nodded in sync and stared at Zane. 

"You guys just wouldn't survive a day without me." Zane said with a shake of his head and a chuckle. "Alright so what do we all like?" Zane asked as he looked Nya and Lloyd in the eyes.

Nya opened her mouth, "Wait what's your guys' favorite colors?" Nya asked suddenly.

"Why?" Lloyd asked with a curious glint in his eyes.

"Just answer." Nya sighed.

"Mine is white." Zane answered.

"Green." Lloyd added.

"Alright, well mine is blue." Nya stated. "If we all have different colors then what if we call ourselves the rainbow squad or something?" Nya asked.

Zane stared for a second. "Doesn't that stand for Lgbtq+ or gay?" Zane asked.

Nya glared at him, "Yes it does, got a problem with that?" She asked with one of her death stares.

"No of course not! But aren't we all straight?" Zane answered.

Lloyd shook his head, "Nope, I'm pansexual." Lloyd replied with a grin. 

"The rainbow stands for all of Pride so technically we are all included because me and you, Zane, are heterosexual! Or straight as most people call it." Nya declared.

Zane stared at her for a second. "That's true." Zane admitted.

"Alright so Rainbow squad it is?" Nya asked.

"It's kinda cheesy but why not? We could always change it." Lloyd replied.

Zane hesitated but nodded, "Alright." Zane answered.

Nya smiled, "Ok now lemme make this clan." She stated as she looked down at her phone. She quickly made the clan and invited Zane and Lloyd to join. "Ok, now that that's settled. What on earth are we going to do?" Nya asked after a moment.

"Hey guys!" Cole called from across the room. Nya, Zane, and Lloyd turned to see Cole marching towards them with Kai slugging behind him. 

Ok this was so weird. I don't know if any of you have played Clash of Clans, but I play it all the time so...yeah. Btw Zane is not Homophobic, just in case some of you got confused.
