The Liar (ON HOLD)

Chapter 43

Cole

Cole glared up at Alptraum. Alptraum's face held an evil grin as he seemed to anticipate his being free from his prison. 

"It was nice knowing all of you." Zane stated.

Cole sighed and looked back over at Kai whose face was all scrunched up and confused. Cole tried to move, but it was useless.

"Kai, please. I know you're in there." Cole pleaded. 

Kai looked over at him and then walked forward. For a second Cole's hopes went up, but then he was punched in the face. 

Cole opened his mouth due to the pain of the hit to his jaw.

Kai smiled and walked over to Nya who looked like she was ready to kill Kai. He tilted his head and looked at her, almost in pity.

"You're a liar and a traitor you know that?" Nya spat out. "I can't believe I thought it was actually you. You're nothing like my brother." Nya added. 

Kai frowned and squatted down to look her in the eye. "You're right. I'm nothing like your brother. Your brother is dead, and will stay dead." Kai stated as a smile came back to his face. Nya's expression turned to disbelief. 

"Oh please. My brother is stronger than you fuckers." Nya answered.

"Maybe...but he is weak and is as good as dead. I could just..." Kai snapped his fingers, "And he would be gone for good." He continued with a smug look. 

"I must confess that he didn't struggle at all. It was as if he knew the situation was hopeless and gave up trying." Kai added suddenly. 

"Kliptrone... It is time." Alptraum stated.

Kliptrone/Kai bowed and walked over to the edge of the balcony. He then pulled a lever, causing the ground to shake. Cole frowned, it wasn't a normal shake. It was as if something was being pulled through...Cole's face paled, but he tried to stay calm.

After a minute a hole broke open behind them and a large cage came through. It was made of gold bars and by the looks of it you could tell it was enchanted with a spell or something. Inside the cage it seemed was smoke. It was so dense you couldn't see through it and every time some of the smoke hit the sides of the cage it bounced back like an invisible forcefield was blocking the way. 

Then Cole noticed the jewels. There were six of them. Each was its own color. First black, then blue, then green, then red, then white, and lastly gray. The jewels were dull though as if they had no life in them, and Cole had a feeling that there would be life in them soon...very soon. 

Kliptrone walked over to the ninja and smiled. He pulled out his swords and walked forward but halted as if waiting for an order to proceed. Alptraum looked at Cole closely as if contemplating something.

"Start with the green one. Don't kill yet though, just make them bleed." Alptraum stated. 

Cole looked at Lloyd and saw him pale. Then a thought came into Cole's mind. "How ironic, I fall in love with the person that's going to kill me." He thought to himself. He smiled despite the situation which earned him a punch from Kliptrone, the person that was possessing Kai.

"Smile all you want, but sooner or later I'll kill you." Kliptrone whispered to Cole. Cole frowned, but said nothing.

Kliptrone walked over to Lloyd and put his swords on both sides of Lloyd's body. Then he slowly brought the swords closer until Cole looked away and heard a scream from Lloyd. Cole winced and peeked to see Kai pull the swords away with a smile as Lloyd stood there in pain, trying. but failing to hold back his tears.

Cole looked over at Lloyd and sighed when Kliptrone walked over to Zane next. The same thing took place, but Zane held back his scream. Both Lloyd and Zane were losing lots of blood and would soon pass out, it was obvious from their pale faces. Then Kliptrone walked over to Jay and did the same. Jay's scream was agonizing, it just hurt to hear his voice. Kliptrone then walked over to Nya but did something different. Instead of across the arms, Kliptrone cut her along her legs. Nya's scream was the loudest by far and probably the most painful. The scream echoed throughout the cave and Cole knew the citizens, including his dad were watching in horror.

Cole believed he was next and turns out he was correct. Kliptrone walked over to him and slit his arms. Cole didn't scream, but tears started running down his face as he looked down to see deep wounds and blood oozing from them. There were puddles of the red liquid everywhere. Cole then shakily looked up to see Kliptrone slice his own arms and let the blood roll down his body. 

Suddenly all the blood seemed to lift off of the ground and it was sucked into each of the assigned jewels. It was terrifying to watch. Cole then looked over at Alptraum who was smiling widely as he looked like he wanted to jump up and down. 

"Kill them now." Alptraum ordered.

Kliptrone smiled and walked over to Cole with one of his swords hefted. He held it next to Cole's neck and pulled it back to swing. Cole closed his eyes and waited for the final blow...

but it never came

Oki I'm done with this chapter, it was pretty bad but I didn't know how else to put it. I think like maybe two chapters or more will wrap up the book. I'm hitting the end here so I'm kind of excited about it. I know I did an awful job, but to my defense it was my first book so yeah... Anygays, Happy PRIDE month! Stay safe! Love you guys, bye!
