Lloyd

Lloyd had been so excited to see his uncle, and then he finds out five minutes later that his uncle wasn't actually his uncle. Like...what? It made no sense, but then again...it did make sense. It made up for why Wu seemed so sad. Like, who would be sad when they were seeing their students again after so long? But then again who wouldn't be sad if they were seeing their students again but not actually seeing them? Lloyd's mind was spinning, but he needed to stay focused. There was too much at risk.

Lloyd slugged up the front porch and knocked. A moment later his mom opened the door and welcomed him in.

"Honey are you ok?" Misako asked after letting Lloyd inside.

Lloyd smiled and nodded, "Yeah I'm fine...just tired." Lloyd answered.

Misako looked concerned but nodded. Lloyd knew she didn't believe him but was glad she didn't try to push it.

Lloyd walked over to his room but stopped when an idea came to his mind.

"Hey mom?" Lloyd asked as he turned around.

"Yes sweetie?" Misako asked as she glanced at him. She was currently washing the dishes.

"Can I invite some friends over? Our day out was put on pause cause of the fire, so I wanted to invite them over for games." Lloyd explained.

Misako nodded, "Sure. I'll make dinner for you guys." She replied with a smile.

Lloyd grinned and hugged Misako. "Thanks mom." Lloyd stated as he turned around and walked back to his room.

Grabbing his phone, Lloyd started texting in the group chat. "Hey guys! Wanna come over to hang out? I'm free the rest of the day." Lloyd texted. He waited for the others to respond.

"Sure man! If you want, I can go and pick up Kai as well."  Cole replied with a thumb's up emoji.

Lloyd thought for a minute and then smirked. "How do you know where Kai lives Cole?" Lloyd asked with a questioning emoji and a smirk face emoji.

"Well, we've had our own run-ins outside of school and I saw where Kai lived. And what's with the emoji?" Cole asked.

Lloyd stared at his phone with an annoyed expression. Then Jay texted.

"Wow Cole, I can't believe you didn't tell me that you and Kai were dating." Jay texted.

Lloyd laughed and waited for Cole's response.

"..." Cole texted, "What are you talking about?" Cole asked.

"Bro, you and Kai are literally so chill with each other. It's obvious you like each other's company." Lloyd texted back.

"We're friends." Cole replied.

"Classic excuse." Jay texted in return.

"Cole, you like my brother?!" Nya texted.

"NO!" Cole texted.
