A werewolf huh? I walk up to the cage and he backs away from me in fear while whimpering,"Please, just leave me alone!"
I stop and when I open my eyes again the red dominates while my pupils are like a snake's. My fangs show when I speak to him," Calm down. I'm just passing through. Where is your family?"
He doesn't answer so I sigh before grabbing the bars and rip them off the cage like wet clay. He backs away as far as he can but it's not far enough to do anything really. I reach in with my claws out and grip the shackles before concentrating power through my mark. The shackles glow red before melting entirely into pools of liquid silver. When I'm done I pull out and say,"There. Now find your family and leave here as fast as you can. Go to Alaska and ask for Percy. The people there will make sure you're safe and will help you rest."
I walk away quickly as he scampers off as a wolf with black fur and red streaks. I myself am gone a few minutes later by simply releasing my soul and return to my body. I stretch from my spot on the tree branch and look up at the sun. It's just setting now so I'll make it to the garden soon enough with my wings. I cautiously get up while my wings extend to their full length and almost fall off the tree when a gust of wind whips up. I quickly jump off the branch while flapping my wings fast enough to create some lift for me to use. I fly high enough where there is enough wind to support me so that I can safely glide at a controlled angle while I make my way to Mount Tam. When I land I leave my wings out in case for some reason I need a quick escape as I make my way up to the garden. I reach the garden just as the Hesperides shimmer into existence and I bow,"Ladies."
They regard me with distaste,"What do you want demigod?"
I lift my head to show them my face and they gasp before I answer,"I seek to repay a friend that has fallen in battle."
The youngest uncertainly asks,"You desire an apple?"
I snicker,"No Lady Erytheia. I do not desire immortality since I already posses it. The blood of a monster flows through my veins but the feelings of my human side still remain intact. I am a immortal hybrid and my only purpose is to repay a friend for her sacrifice. I intend to bring Zoë back, if you wish it. To be honest even if you don't I will still attempt to bring her back, but your blessings would make this easier."
They all look at me in shock until the oldest, Arethusa, asks,"How is such a thing possible?! If you could do such a thing we would be very grateful. We have forgiven her since we saw her passion fighting against our father."
I bow again,"Thank you Lady Arethusa. For this I need all the help of all you. Does Zoë's power as a Hesperide still reside in the garden?"
She nods her head and I sigh in relief,"Then things have become infinitely easier. Can you call it forth in physical form?"
Aegle answers,"We can, but we can only maintain it for a few seconds."
I nod my head,"Good enough. Do it as soon as I say so. Ready.....set......now!"
They all thrust their hands out and a ball of pure light materializes in front of me. I concentrate on Thantos' power and the flesh peels away from the bones in left arm so only a skeletal arm remains. They nearly lose their concentration but I shout,"Keep going! It's time I returned you to your old master, my friend."
I have Riptide clutched in my skeletal hand and force my hand into the ball of light, forcing it to accept the power of the immortal weapon. I feel my exposed bones getting hotter from the power in the orb and quickly say,"I call upon the spirit of the immortal Huntress. I call thee forth from the vault of the skies! Zoë Nightshade return to the Earth!"
A light shines from the Huntress before a comet falls from it and I can faintly make out a body in the center of it. I quickly jump while flapping as hard as I can so I can catch her in mid air and neither of us have to make a new trench in the soil. When I manage to catch her I forget to flap for a few seconds and we drop drastically before my wings start working again and we level out as I swing around to her waiting sisters. I land roughly and the ground cracks from the impact before I stomp my foot and it goes back to normal with the grass quickly growing over it. I gently set Zoë down in front of me and just realize Ladon is a foot away from me! I quickly pick Zoë up and am ready to bolt when a voice speaks in my head,"You need not fear me. I will not harm him who has returned one of my companions, especially if that someone is you Perseus Jackson."
I growl without meaning to,"My name is Thráfsma. Perseus doesn't exist in this new form, but thank you old dragon."
He acknowledges me with a nod,"It's no problem at all hatchling. I heard your response to having a immortal apple. Since you are unable to have this you will have my gift. Step forward."
His voice is soft but demanding at the same time. I feel myself walking forwards on my own and soon I'm in front of the massive dragon. A hundred heads all look at me and every eye seems to hold untold wisdom that just wants to be told to someone. Three of his heads slither around my body but for some reason I'm not afraid of him at all. The smell of eucalyptus grows much stronger as Ladon quickly has all three heads sink their teeth into my body. I scream from the pain of the poison flowing through my body and as quickly as it begins it stops and relief replaces it. I fall on my knees as I gulp in air and Ladon looks at me apologetically,"My apologies young hero. My blessing can only be given when the receiver has been tainted with my poison. The blood of the gods is gone now, replaced by my poison. If you will it your blood will become acid outside of your body or will continue to act as a toxin for those you wish. You are now immune to any poison known to man, and immortals. Oh, we have visitors."
I turn to see the other Hesperides crowded around Zoë and ask,"Is she alright?"
They all look at me and gasp while I'm confused,"What's wrong?"
Water from a nearby stream floats to make a rough mirror in front of me before freezing solid. I drag a hand over the dragon tattoo that drops from my forehead and goes down my left eyelid and stops roughly two centimeters past my lower eyelid. It's branded in. Guess Ladon's poison did that too besides replacing my godly blood. Zoë shifts a little and I join the other girls as we wait for her to wake up, while they tell me about themselves. Ladon has his heads scattered around us and one rests on my shoulder while I scratch the tough scales. A minute after Zoë's shifted she sits up and I say,"Dying was a very foolish thing to do, Zoë. Now I know a little how Ladon's poison feels so I must say I'm impressed you continued fighting Atlas even with his venom coursing through your veins."
She looks at me in confusion,"Do I know you?"
I fake hurt,"I know my appearance has changed, but not that much! My name is Fragment, formerly known as Percy Jackson."
Her eyes widen before I feel myself being crushed in a hug by a former Hunter and choke out,"Can't......breathe!"
She lets go quickly as my face turns back to its tan color other than the purple the lack of oxygen made. I chuckle,"It's nice to see you too Zoë. Nice to see a face that doesn't want to kill me."
She blushes in embarrassment before processing what I said,"What do you mean? Why would anybody want to kill you?"
I laugh bitterly while backing away and transform. The tattoos cover my body as my claws along with my fangs extend to their full length. Zoë and the others back away in fear so I say,"It's okay. I'm still in control in this form. I'm always in control other than when I get angry."
They hesitantly step forward and I sigh,"Come on I won't bite. Even if I wanted to, I doubt Ladon would let me!"
That does it and in the next second they're all in front of me and Hesperia sighs,"We know. We just didn't know how you'd react to Ladon's blessing."
I nod my head,"Understandable. I have to go now before the gods pinpoint where I am."
I turn to go and I feel five sets of arms on my back before a searing pain shoots through me. I crane my neck to look at them with a eyebrow raised and Zoë answers,"You may now come here whenever you want. You are always welcome among us."
I smile a genuine smile for the second time today and gratefully say,"Thank you. I'll visit as soon as I can."
I take off into the air and fly towards Alaska until I see a crowd of monsters chasing someone and I drop lower to see what they're chasing. A young girl races along as monsters roar at her and hellhounds are nipping at her heels until I land in front of them and hiss,"Back off!"
They flatten their ears and growl at me before I snap my fingers and earthen spikes impale them all over their bodies. They dissolve without a sound and I drop onto all fours as I try out my new transformation and growl menacingly at them while the earth trembles as I stalk towards them. Without a sound they stop before swiftly turning on their heels and run the opposite direction from where they came from and I burst out laughing. I feel a sword shatter on my back and stand up before I turn and catch the young girl's swing with my bare hand and yank it out of her grip. She looks at me with a stunned expression and I growl,"Now that wasn't nice. You don't kill the person who saved you from being eaten little girl."
She backs away and I quickly say,"I won't hurt you. I don't hurt women unless they really deserve it."
She stops and I go back to normal before asking,"Where are your parents? Why are you out here?"
She shrinks back and I sigh before whispering,"Miló!"
Her eyes glaze over as she starts,"My name is Hetalia Killian. I don't have any parents and I was left at an orphanage since birth. I ran away a few months ago and I only got the sword a few days ago when I killed a snake woman."
I release the spell I placed on her and she gasps before her eyes fill with tears and screams,"What did you do to me?!"
I just tap her head and whisper,"Ypnos."
Her eyes roll into her head before she collapses into my waiting arms. I whistle sharply and Mrs.O'Leary bounds into the forest and chases her tail a few times before sitting right in front of me. I rub her head before putting Hetalia on her back and slide her arms under my dog's chain collar so that she won't slide out during shadow travel and say,"Take her home."
My dog bounds into a shadow and I take off again just as a volley of silver arrows stick into the tree where I was standing. I look down while pulling my lower eyelid down and stick my tongue out at the Hunters. They scowl until I tap the ring on the back of my right hand and a girl falls to the ground and starts convulsing. I tap my ring again and she stops long enough to see my look of apology before I shoot off through the sky for a while before dropping onto all fours and transform as I race across the wooded terrain. I never get tired of the feeling of the wind whipping my mane of black hair around as I run, or the feel of the earth under my hands. I relish the rest of the run home until I reach the Canadian border and take to the air once more. I reach home a few hours later and land on the front lawn before my wings tuck in neatly against my back. The door opens to show Hestia standing in the doorway and gestures to the interior,"You have visitors. They said you either kidnapped them, or you saved them. What did you do while you were gone?"
I smile sheepishly and feel my long canines press against my lips,"Not much. I helped a captured werewolf. Saved a girls from some monsters. And finally I brought a friend back from the dead."
Aunt Hestia holds up a hand,"Just come inside and talk to the people."
I sigh and walk inside to see June calming a hysterical girl while a young boy sits on a couch, next to a middle aged woman. Everything goes silent when I walk into the room and ask,"What's going on here?"
Hetalia looks at me murderously,"You!! What are you?!"
I laugh a little,"A half blood. Used to be a son of Poseidon, but now I'm more monster than human. What you saw was my true monster form and this is my usual appearance."
Hetalia slowly sits down as June practically pulls her down to the couch and I turn to the werewolf child and  the woman. I smile a little to show my large canines and bend down in front of the boy,"Can you tell me your name now?"
He looks at the woman and she nods her head so he continues,"Alexander, sir."
I cringe a little,"Please no formalities. I've dealt with the Olympians and I find it degrading to show respect if they haven't earned it. If I've earned your respect though, then I won't mind if you do any formalities." and I turn to the woman,"Now, can you please tell me your name?"
The woman turns her gaze to me and curtly says,"It's only good manners for you to introduce yourself first."
My teeth flash in a quick grin,"Fair. My name is Perseus Jackson, ex-son of the sea god Poseidon. Now I go by Fragment the cursed and Bane of Olympus. Now may I have your name?"
The woman growls to show her sharp canines,"Why would I tell my name to a enemy demigod? Especially the Hero of Olympus?!"
My eyes seem to shrink and tunnel vision occurs to see only her as my claws tear into the arm cushion,"I. Dare. You. To repeat that."
The woman shrinks a little and my vision goes back to normal and I relax,"Apologies. Just don't bring up that trash title. Now I answer to no one but the man who gave me power, The Outsider."
The woman looks shaken but gives me her name,"Monique, no last name. I'm Alex's sister and mother since our real one was killed by the Hunters. I've heard a lot about you, and nothing fits. What happened to you?"
I smirk lightly,"Life happened, pure and simple. Gaea cursed me to become a immortal monster and human. When the others found out......they acted like idiots and believed I'd kill them. Now, why are you staring at me like......that?"
She shivers,"Your eyes turned entirely black for a second. No pupil, and no iris."
I groan,"Great. Now I get tunnel vision when I'm angry. Now I don't know what your plans are, but I'm gonna head out at the end of the week to find the person who gave me this power."
I get up and head to my room and before I know it I'm dreaming.
