"I don't care if you're a mortal or a god. Either way I'm still going to rip you apart."~ Perseus

A month passes quickly and finds Percy entering the Garden of the Hesperides for the sixth time and making his way over to a small house made of polished wood. He knocks on the door of the small house and it opens to show Zoë in a traditional Greek chiton. A few minutes later the two are drinking some tea Zoë had already made and Percy sets his cup down,"Tastes great. Thanks."
Zoë smiles a little,"Thank you. How's your work going?"
Percy un-clips his swords and sets them on the ground beside his seat,"It's been good, a little tiring dealing with the Greek monsters in their territory, but it's a good chance for me to discover new artifacts. Recently we've been thinking of expanding into different pantheons, namely Egyptian and Native American. How've you been?"
Zoë sets her glass down and sandwiches her hands between her thighs,"It's been rough. Ever since Zeus found out I was alive he's been pushing for me to marry one of his sons. I've managed to stall him for now but I'm a little worried about what can ha-" and a crash from outside stops her.
She quickly gets to her feet while drawing the hunting knife strapped to her arm and opens the door. She goes out while Percy picks up Excalibur and Dyrwyn and slides both blades out of the sheaths. He hears arguing until a man yells and Zoë yelps as the sound of flesh hitting flesh is easily heard from inside the house. Percy rushes out with his lion skin in the form of a biker jacket and the first things he notices is Zoë on the ground and a man wearing a lion skin standing over her,"How dare you talk to me like that! I'm a god while you're just a lowly nymph. Know your place!"
He doesn't get a chance to say anything else before Percy charges in and slams his full weight against the back of the god and throws him away from Zoë. He crouches down to check on his friend,"What hurts?"
Zoë tries to talk but tears spring to the corners of her eyes and Percy nods,"Broken jaw. I'll have that fixed in a second."
He starts to heal her but has to pull both of them away as Hercules pulverizes the place where they were with his club. Percy glares at him through his mask,"What's your problem?!"
Hercules growls at the monster,"Shut your mouth worm! Do not interfere with the woman I was given!"
Percy becomes stock still at that,"What."
Hercules sneers at him and speaks without restraint,"What I mean, you little piece of s*** is that my father has given me the nymph do with as I please! She is my property!"
Percy is quiet before lunging forward and is in front of Hercules before he can even blink and punches him in the face with every bit of strength he can muster. The godling is thrown into the air and his nose bleeds while it's bent to the left. He lands on his back and gets up while his face turns red with fury,"You dare defy the will of the gods?!"
Percy scoffs while sheathing Dyrwyn,"I care little for the matters of Olympus, but you will not touch one of my friends with your filthy hands. Especially after what you did to her so long ago!"
Hercules laughs,"Oh, that? That was simply something that needed to happen for me to complete my tasks, an insignificant moment!"
Excalibur crashes down on his club and cuts through it before continuing on leaving a clean cut across Hercules' chest before it leaks a generous amount of ichor that serves to further enrage the godling,"How dare you leave a wound on my body! I am the son of Zeus, King of Olympus!"
Percy ducks under a wild swing of the godling's fist and lands two more small cuts that leak more ichor than they should. This pattern continues for a few minutes until Hercules is sweating and further aggravates his injuries,"Hold still you brat!"
Percy moves and avoids another wild blow with ease and a speaks with a calm voice,"I could've ended this a while ago, I just want to know if you're sorry for saying my friend is property and for what you did to her while you were mortal."
Hercules is now attacking in a blind rage,"I don't regret anything! Lying to her gained me godhood and she will bear me strong children by the time I'm through with her!"
Percy now goes dead silent as Zoë shakes in fear at what he's implying and Percy's voice changes as his anger grows,"How dare you!" and runs his sword through the arrogant god's left shoulder before swiftly drawing Dyrwyn and attempts to do the same with the right shoulder.
Hercules quickly draws a sword handle and a blade shoots out to divert Dyrwyn a few inches to the right and pin his upper arm to the ground while the holy flames lick around the sword. Hercules writhes around like a pinned insect and Percy slowly turns both swords until his arms are facing the wrong way and the strange blade is dropped on the ground. Percy lets his swords go at that since he's sure Hercules can't move and moves over to Zoë and gently places his right hand under her jaw,"Try not to move, it'll just make it harder to heal."
His hand is hidden from Hercules' sight so he risks using his magic and his brand glows the usual pale green as he sends healing energy into his hand and into Zoë's jaw. After a minute he moves his hand away and Zoë tests her jaw and easily opens her mouth and moves it around before wrapping her friend in a hug,"Thanks."
Percy chuckles,"It's no problem. What do we do with the godling?"
Zoë smiles evilly and picks her hunting knife up before moving towards Hercules with slow steps. He tenses when he sees her moving towards him and yells at her,"Stay away you piece of trash!"
She doesn't stop so he yells louder,"I said, stop!"
She's a few feet away now and Hercules yells,"In the name of my father, stop!"
She's right next to his downed body and he makes one more attempt,"I will give you one last chance! Free me and come peacefully so I can produce a strong child!"
Zoë smiles sweetly before slamming her knife down in the skin right above his manhood and carefully tears her way down through the skin and muscle to his manhood and Hercules is sweating in fear as he realizes exactly how precarious his position is and asks,"Mercy?"
Zoe's grin doesn't leave her face,"Sorry, all out of mercy." and tears her knife down between his legs.
Percy winces as Hercules screams a few octaves louder than normal and yanks his swords out of his body after picking up the strange weapon he tried to save himself with. Hercules instantly teleports away when he sees they aren't paying attention to him and Percy places a hand on Zoë's shoulder when he notices her shaking,"You okay?"
He's unprepared for when she starts crying and hesitantly wraps her in a hug,"What's wrong? I don't remember you ever being this emotional."
Zoë is shaking and slightly leans into Percy,"My time in the stars....It was horrifying. I was stuck, unable to do anything but watch. I saw people do despicable things. Men, women, gods, I saw everyone do horrible things. I saw everything, but I couldn't do anything! The blessing of Artemis turned out to be the thing that almost drove me insane. I was ecstatic when I felt you summoning my spirit and reviving me, I don't ever remember being that happy because of a man's action. I just...I can't trust the gods after what I saw them do. So much hate from their unclaimed children, so much death from their jealousy. I don't want any of the gods near me!"
Percy unwraps his arms and places both on Zoë's shoulders,"If that's what you want...I can help. I can put a barrier up that won't allow for any unwanted guests to enter. The only one who can enter freely would be me, and only because Ladon tied me to this place with his blessing. Are you alright with that?"
She nods and Percy lets go and takes steps towards the tree. Ladon lets him pass and he places a finger on the tree as his right hand glows to encompass the entire garden and The Outsider's brand smokes in the wood. When he's done he sits down as he rubs his right hand while it's an angry red,"That still hurts like a b***!"
Before he knows what's going on Zoë pulls him into a tight hug,"Thank you. What does the barrier repel exactly?"
Percy grins,"Anything with godly blood in it. Mortals will still be able to pass through if they ever come up, but the mist is so thick they won't notice anything. I'm the only one who can come and go freely besides you and your sisters."
The hug she's giving him tightens and he looks back to see her burying her face in his hair,"This is real nice."
Zoë blushes as she realizes her position and quickly backs away from Percy while he just grins,"Don't worry, I won't tell that a former follower of Artemis hugged a man."
Zoë's eyes narrow and she chases after him until he flies to the top of the tree and laughs from his perch while she screams at him to descend. From a distance five figures watch the proceedings. The Outsider looks between the two and back at the Hesperides,"They'll make a good couple. It's almost like watching Corvo and her majesty when they were younger. Make sure they get together in the future."
Arethusa grins mischievously,"Of course Lord Outsider. But why are you so interested in our sister's love life?"
The Outsider looks at the younger nymph,"He's my champion, and more powerful than any who have come before him. Of course I'm interested in what's mine."
He turns from them and walks a few steps before dissolving into wind and Aegle grins as she watches her sister bicker with her friend,"These will be some fun years."

Hercules is finishing giving his story of what happened,"It was like fighting a demon! He was wearing a mask that made me feel terror just like looking at uncle's helm. He cut through my club with one sword while the other was covered in fire!"
Zeus turns red with anger,"What of the nymph? Did you manage to give her the cursed relic?"
Hercules opens his hand to show a gold band with Greek inscriptions all around the circle,"I nearly had her! A few more minutes and she would've been a mindless slave!"
A new voice joins the conversation,"How shocking. You Olympians haven't changed at all."
The Outsider is seated next to Hestia as she tends the hearth and makes eye contact,"Hello, young flame. You've become more mellow since the last time I saw you."
Hercules speaks up before anybody can stop him,"Who are you?! How dare you ignore me for her!"
The Outsider waves a hand in the godling's direction,"Silence, pest."
Hercules screams as he becomes a column of blue fire and is reduced to ash in moments,"Such a weak pest."
Athena almost seems afraid to speak now but asks anyway,"Lord Outsider why are you here?"
He ignores her and looks around the room,"There's more of you than before." and looks to Athena,"Who are you?"
Athena bows her head,"Athena, a daughter of Zeus. Goddess of battle strategy."
The Outsider looks around the room once more before speaking,"My purpose for being here....is to see the people my champion previously served. I'm disappointed as you are all terribly weak, pawns as it were."
Zeus fumes in his seat but stays quiet as The Outsider turns to go before stopping to face Artemis,"You." and the goddess flinches,"Artemis is it? I'm interested about your stance on your father's scheme. Your former follower's fate is absolutely intertwined with my champion's."
Artemis tries to answer but The Outsider just holds a hand up,"Never mind. I can feel that you're about to lie. Know this, your actions have cost you access to your precious garden."
He starts to vanish but Athena stops him with a question,"One moment, please. You called us pawns. What's your champion's position then?"
The Outsider smiles narrowly,"Queen of course. In this game he is above you."
He vanishes and reappears in his diemnsion,"I thought I felt a disturbance." and turns,"Chaos. Eternity. Why are you here?"
