"That was a great run" Namjoon thought. He ran around the stadium about 5 times. Somehow his thoughts went back to the girl he just met. "Focus, focus" he thought "think about what you are going to say to all the armies tonight when you are on stage. He thought long and hard about it. In the end he decided not to prepare anything this time. Sometimes it was just best to live in the moment. "Live a little, Namjoon" he said to himself "It doesn't always have to be perfect".
While he was drowning in his thoughts, all of a sudden somebody knocked on his hotel door.He quickly opened the door. It was the hotel Manager. "Mr. Kim, the dark room is ready for you". "Ah great" Namjoon answered. "Follow me Sir, this way please." Namjoon followed the manager, and the bodyguard followed Namjoon. When they came to the dark room Namjoon asked the body guard to wait outside.
He didn't really understand why Bang PD, the man behind BT S, had arranged so many bodyguards this time. It was a good thing Bang PD didn't know about his morning jogging routine. Otherwise he would have let a bodyguard run with him. If that had happened, he would have never been able to talk to the girl and feel normal for a few minutes. Normal, just having a normal conversation with a stranger, who wouldn't scream or break down in tears. In fact, she wasn't excited to see him at fist. She actually was a bit scared of him in the beginning.
Namjoon couldn't wait to see how the pictures would turn out, especially the one they took together. He stood there waiting patiently for his pictures to develop. Slowly the picture they took together became clearer. He looked at the picture. Her face, he thought she had the most beautiful smile in this photo. If only he could see her one more time. He would give her the picture and ask for her name this time.
She did mention that she would be at the concert tonight. However, it would be impossible to find her in the crowd. Besides once she knew who he was, things would not be so normal anymore.
When he was done with developing all his photos, Namjoon walked back to his room.
"Joonie" he heard. He turned around and it was Yoongi. "Joon" he said out of breath "I've been looking for you. Your mom has called me 5 times, she said you need to talk this out"
Namjoon looked at Yoongi "Look, I hate disagreeing with my mom and ignoring her calls right now. But as you know this is a life decision". "My life! and I just can't right now".
"I know" Yoongi said with worry and pity in his eyes. "I wish I could help you more with this". "All I can do is give you a heads up and tell you that Bang PD is sitting in your room and he wants to talk to you about this".
Namjoon was dragging his feet now. Going to meet Bang PD sometimes could give an uncomfortable feeling. As he opened his hotel room, he could hear Bang PD's voice. "Come sit Namjoon, we need to discuss the promises we made to your mom about 10 years ago".
"With all do respect" Namjoon answered "Please not now, while Im trying to prepare myself for the concert. I promise, I will talk to my mom when I'm back in Korea".
"Your a grown man now Namjoon" Bang PD said. "So suit yourself". "But sooner or later, we will need to sit down and make arrangements". Bang PD stood up and was about to leave. At the door he turned around "Have a wonderful show tonight, but remember what kind of men are we, if we cant keep our promise?".
