You looked around you, there were several groups and couples at different tables. Everyone was drinking and having a good time.
A guy was singing on a little stage that they especially had for the 'karaoke stars'. He sang 'Last Christmas' and sounded actually really good, even though he seemed to be drunk.
At the bar there was a girl who also seemed to be drunk and was on her phone shouting and cursing....
Perhaps not the best place to think things over..you thought by yourself. But at least for tonight it would help you get over things..and get over Anna. You took a big gulp from your red wine..which was expensive, but tasted really cheap.
The drunk girl was so beautiful, you were kinda staring at her. What was a girl like her doing alone in a karaoke bar. No one seemed to be bothered that she was drunk either. Perhaps it wasn't such a bad idea...getting drunk tonight..and you took another big gulp from your wine.
A guy came over to your table..."wanna sing a song?" He asked and pointed at the little stage. We have lots of English songs you know..unless you want to sing a Korean song...I won't stop you ..he said with a smile.
"Oh no..no..no..I'm ok..." you said shyly...
"Hey no one leaves before they sing a song...so might as well start thinking of one" he laughed.
"I'm not really a good singer" you said...it's gonna chase your customers away...believe me"
"hmmmm" he looked around..."no one in here is a good singer honey... just because we are Korean... doesn't mean we can all sing like BTS" he laughed...nobody sings well in here.
At that moment a big guy came in and headed over to the girl at the bar. "Please come with me, he is waiting in the car"
The girl started shouting at him "Why doesn't he come out here himself and get me".
The guy kinda picked her up and took her outside. He glanced over to the manager...paparazi and damage control he said quickly. The manager nodded and made way for the guy....
You were watching the whole thing "Wait a minute, did you see that" you asked the guy who offered you to sing...
But you didn't wait for an answer, you rushed out to see where the big guy was taking the girl.
But he had already put her in a very luxurious car and before you could do anything, you watched the car driving off.
Did he say paparazzi and damage control? Was she a star or something? The manager was now standing behind you. Don't worry about it..I know the guy he said...he is a good guy..they probably had to get her before she would do anything stupid being drunk...he smiled
"Oh..Ok..you said..."Like is that even normal?"
"only for the rich my dear, only for the rich...someone will always come to the rescue in a hurry".
