Chapter 58 That Whiskey part 2

Namjoon sat in his studio . "Wow" he thought "Maybe he had a little too much of that Whiskey. Perhaps he should not have taken that last shot".

He kinda chuckled thinking of So Yoon's face when he was telling her about his new song Closer. "Closer" he whispered. He put on the song and kinda laid back on his desk chair. It wasn't the most comfortable way of sitting down. Namjoon started swinging his chair from side to side on its wheels.  He closed his eyes and put his hands behind his head.

Somehow the Whiskey made him see the girl from Vegas much stronger. He was wondering what she was doing now . "She probably already has a boyfriend at this point" he thought. 

He jumped out of his chair. "Fuck it" he said out loud and started walking around in his studio. "Perhaps he should just take his chances and text her one more time"

Hey, how are you? I don't know if you remember me......Namjoon started texting on his phone...but deleted it again.

"Ugh"

Hey, how are you? Hope you are doing well and......He texted again. "Noooo" he said out loud and deleted the message again.

Hey, hi this is Namjoon...".No No NO NO" he thought and deleted the message again.

In the meantime, Closer kept playing in the background. "What shall I say to her?"

"Perhaps I shouldn't text at all, after all that Whiskey, yeah it might just be wise not to text" he thought and he started texting:

Hi, this is Namjoon. I am really sorry that I lied to you. I hope you can forgive me. I have been thinking about you a lot lately and perhaps we can talk to each other again. Hope to hear from you soon. 

At that moment, Bang PD came into his studio "Hey, got a minute".

Namjoon's was a bit shocked that Bang PD was standing right in front of him. His phone almost fell out of his hands, he caught it right on time. But he didn't realize that he accidentally hit the the sent button. 

"Careful now" Bang PD smiling...."God of destruction...isn't that what Army calls you?"

"Yeah, yeah...." Namjoon said shyly and hoped that Bang PD did not see what he was texting "What's up, how can I help?"

"Ohh I just wanted to let you know that on Friday you are flying to the US for a Tiny Desk recording for your Indigo album"

"Awwww that's awesome" Namjoon said and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Have you been drinking?" Bang PD asked concerned.."It's still early".

"Yeah, me and So Yoon..you know after the music video was recorded..we kinda celebrated".

"Ahhh yaaa that was today, congrats...I'm sure you guy's collaboration is going to be amazing" Bang PD said. "Just a celebration huh"? Bang PD looked concerned

"Yeah, yeah...don't worry..you know I don't drink Whiskey every day...it was just to celebrate" Namjoon assured him.

"Well ok, I will leave you to it"  Bang PD said and walked towards the door. "Just make sure you rest your vocals a bit...you know you wanna sound good when you get to the US. I will inform the PR team that you are going" He paused for a minute. "Which song was this again?"

"Closer" Namjoon said.

"Ah ya Closer" repeated Bang PD and glanced over his shoulder.

"Why are you blushing Namjoon"? Bang PD asked with a grin on his face and disappeared out of the door before Namjoon could even answer anything. 

"Damn" Namjoon thought .."nothing goes by this guy". 

He sat down and began to write lyrics of a new song. Still not realising that the text message he wrote earlier was sent out. 

"MMMM..."whiskey...wishkey....."  He thought... started writing.. With just a glass of whiskey, all the memories come pouring out, praying to a god I don't even believe in...so that you can move on...

That night Namjoon finished his lyrics for his new song Nuts.and started recording some of it...He worked the whole night through. Not really noticing the time. .."Damn" he thought..."that whiskey is working well this time".
