It was 2 weeks since Namjoon handed over his demo of his new songs to Bang PD. He was waiting or his approval. He felt so blessed that Paul did not judge him when making the song Closer. Namjoon told Bang PD that he wanted to launch his album with that song.
"Mr. Kim".... Namjoon looked up from his computer. It was Bang PD's secretary. "He is waiting for you, if you could come in 5 minutes please" she said.
"Yeah sure, I will be there. Thank you". Namjoon walked slowly towards Bang PD's office. All he was hoping for that he would gave him his approval and that Closer would be 'The' song.
"Sit down Namjoon" Bang PD said. Namjoon took a seat across from Bang PD's desk. "Your album".. he paused for a minute and looked out of the window. "I think it's ready".
Namjoon took a deep sigh of relief...."...and my request?"
"Ah your request, to launch Closer?.... Hmmm ...sorry no can do" Bang PD shook his head.
"But why..the song is so good..and it means a lot to me" Namjoon raised out of his seat.
"That song Namjoon, is about the girl in Vegas...I can't have it too much in the spotlight, your mom and Sieun are gonna kill me if they know who it is about! I will keep it on the track, but I can't put too much focus on it, its gonna cause too much drama."
Namjoon sat back down..."how..how do you know there was a girl in Vegas?'.
"Oh my god Namjoon. It's my job to look out for you..nothing goes past by me. Don't you know this by now?."
"Besides, we can't launch Paul over Youjeen, you have to respect that she is older and a longer player in this field...so it is decided...Wild flower will be 'The' song". Also I had the creative team and the pr team looking at this song..and they already came up with a great concept for your music video. The fans will love it".
Namjoon was not even listening anymore..He was drowned in his thoughts, how did bang PD know about the girl, he was so careful.
"Namjoon, if anyone finds out about this girl...We can't take that risk. You might just start talking about it in an interview. I know how you are...Mr. spoiler alert..nooo I can't trust you with that.
"Look the pr team and I ... we have a whole plan, we launch your album...Wild flower will be the song, you will have a few collaborations with other artist...and you can choose who. You go to the military, you come back, we announce that you and Sieun are officially dating a few months after that, we announce the engagement, we announce the wedding".
Bang PD sighed and walked from behind his desk. He put his hands on Namjoons shoulder. "Forget about Closer..forget about the girl"..
"Hey the least I can do is have it on a soundtrack for movie or something..if you must really put it out there."
"Ok that's all set, tomorrow you will meet with the creative team and they will run you by the ideas..you may go" and that was the end of the meeting.
