Chapter 10 After the Concert Part 2

When Namjoon came on stage for the sound check, he tried to scan the stadium. He was hoping to find her once more. But unfortunately, she was no where to be found. 

He did see Michelle Hui sitting in the front row with another girl, who had strawberry red hair. He recognised Michelle, she was one of the first fans they ever had and they had even done an interview with her in the past. 

He quickly waved at her and carried on with his singing and dancing. It was nice to see a familiar face. He went from left to right on the stage, hoping that at some point he would see the girl he met during his morning jog. He had hoped their eyes would met one more time. But no luck.

When they went around the stadium in the big trolly, they passed by many fans. He tried to look in the crowd, but he couldn't find her either. There were so many lights shining in his eyes and there were too many faces. He was disappointed in a way, but couldn't show this to the rest of members or his fans. So he decided to make the most out of his performance, because somehow she would be looking at him.

After the concert he gathered with all the other members. "You guys did great" he said "I loved the energy so much from the audience. I can't believe we are finally able to perform in front of people again. The pandemic was not easy, and that is why I embrace this moment...I hope you do so as well." He looked at each member, who were still out of breath and full with excitement. Then they all started hugging each other. "Let's to better tomorrow" He said "Fighting" and the others shouted back "Fighting."

"I'm sorry" one of the body guards approached them, but your car is ready and we need to get out of here before the audience will storm out. "Ok" Namjoon said "Let's go" while clapping in his hands.

"UH sorry sir" one of the body guards stopped Namjoon "We got the orders that you will be in Mr. Bang PD's car" and he pointed at the other car in front of them. "Wait, just me?". "Yes, sir that are the orders". Namjoon nodded and quickly waved to the other members "I will see you later in the hotel" and he got into Bang PD's car.

Bang PD was sitting in the back. "You boys did well" he said as Namjoon entered the car and sat next to him. "Namjoon, tonight you will do a Vlive for the fans" Bang PD said with a straight face. "What? Tonight? Just me?" Namjoon asked "I'm actually a little tired. Can I not do one tomorrow with a few other members, we will be mentally prepared. Besides I think the fans rather see a few of us than just me."

"No" Bang PD said firm. "This is the first show and  your adrenaline is high now, talking to your fans will calm you down. It is a way to stay away from drugs, alcohol or other things you are not supposed to be doing at the moment." 

"Are you suggesting that I will do drugs?" Namjoon asked in disbelief and laughed a bit annoyed. "No, I know you don't. But I already have pictures of V smoking surfacing the internet. I can't have these kind of things coming out about the leader too.

Namjoon got more annoyed now. V was just a young human being who was trying out things. Smoking wasn't as bad as drugs.Not to say that it is good for your health. But it was just a one time thing that V wanted to try to calm his nerves during the Grammy's award. Any other person in that situation would have been nervous too and tried to look for something, like smoke a cigarette, chew gum or something else. 

Like Namjoon, he would crack his neck and knuckles a few times, that was something he did when he was nervous.But he had never tried smoking, and he certainly stayed away from drugs. He even cut down the alcohol since he got serious about training his body and gaining muscles and he didn't drink that much to begin with. Nah, he couldn't believe that Bang PD didn't trust him with these kind of things. Bang PD out of all people should know that he was very health conscious and should not be doubting him, V, or any other member at this point.
