"guys, don't push each other like that!" you shouted as you watched your students run onto the playground right as you took them outside.
you watched them for a few minutes, knowing that some of them liked to be crazy when it came to recess.
"miss l/n, do you have a band-aid?" one of your students came up to you with a cut on their leg.
"a band-aid? already? go ask mr.lee, he should have one," you said to him. you watched your student go over to the other teachers.
you looked back at the playground before going back to where the teachers were.
"thank you mr.lee!" your student said as chan put the band-aid on their leg.
"no problem. be careful when you play," he said and your student ran back into the playground to join their friends.
"do you guys have any plans this weekend?" one of your colleagues asked as you sat down with them at a table.
"i have to make some goodie bags and finish making an activity," one of them mentioned.
"oh, shoot, i never graded their math homework," one of your colleagues spoke up, snapping his fingers when he remembered.
"dude, you always forget to grade stuff," chan spoke up while laughing.
all of a sudden, some students ran up to the table you were all sitting at. "mr.lee, mr.lee! we have a question!" a girl immediately asked.
"what's up?" chan asked.
"why don't you and miss l/n have the same last name?" a girl asked.
"yea, shouldn't you have the same last name?" another girl asked.
chan looked at you before chuckling and looking back at the kids. "why? because we aren't married yet," he replied.
"yet? then when?" a boy asked, "can we come to your wedding?" he immediately added.
"i wanna go!"
"me too!"
"okay guys, go play," chan said to the students, "or else mister dino will chase after you!" he yelled while standing up. he started making noises and pretending to chase the students, who ran away in laughter and returned to the playground.
chan returned to the table and sat down next to you.
"you know, maybe we should invite them," you suggested.
"there's over a hundred of them in their grade. you're going to have all of them come to your wedding?" one of your colleagues questioned.
"maybe we should livestream it..." you thought out loud.
"honey, we haven't even finished making our students' spelling and math tests for next week, i think we should focus on those first before the guest list," chan laughed.
