"what's your favorite color?" jeonghan asked while you twisted stems of some flowers together.

"gray," you replied as you picked up another flower that you had plucked from the ground earlier. "why?" you asked him.

"just wondering. i feel like i knew, but you change it every once in awhile. just wanted to be sure," he replied. "why gray?"

"i don't know. it's just pretty to me," you answered him. "what's with the twenty questions?" you asked, moving the partially made flower crown out of the way to look down at jeonghan, who was laying his head on your lap.

"i dunno," he replied, staring at the sky. then, his eyes shifted to look at you. "what are you making? a chain of flowers?" he asked, a small smile appearing on his face.

"flower crown," you corrected him. "i used to make them all the time at recess when i was a kid," you mentioned with a giggle.

"cute."

"i know, right? they're super cute when you wear them," you replied to his short comment.

"not the flowers, doofus," he said and you looked at him, "you. you're cute."

"well, you're cute too, ya know," you said to him. "sit up," you requested and he reluctantly did so as you finished making the flower crown.

then, you placed the flower crown on the crown of his own head. admiring your work, you smiled.

"it's a good look for you," you commented.

jeonghan slightly grinned, "really now?"

"mhm."

"well, i think," he started, gently taking the flower crown off the top of his head, "it would look better on you," he stated and placed the flower crown on top of your head. "i love you."

"and i love you more," you replied, kissing him back. "shall we go home?" you asked him.

"why? trying to kick me out already?" he asked, making you lightly hit him.

"i asked because there's a cake with your name on it in the fridge, and i figured you would want a piece," you replied before jeonghan leaned in towards you.

"you're too sweet," he replied and kissed you.

"happy birthday, jeonghan," you said to him as he pulled you closer to him.

"thanks, baby," he said with a smile before kissing you again.
