jeonghan - nap

it had been a long day for you, but you had accidentally fallen asleep instead of taking a five minute power nap like you had intended. however, you found your boyfriend asleep next to you when you woke up.

wanting a few more minutes of rest, you moved to be closer to jeonghan. since he's such a light sleeper, he felt you move and wrapped his arm around you.

"was wonderin' when you were gonna get up," he mumbled to you.

"i've been up since five today, give me some slack," you replied to him. "how long have you been here?" you asked him.

"i don't know, but you were asleep when i got here," he replied. "sleep a little more."

"yea..."

"come on, wake up."

you groaned when you heard jeonghan speak, not wanting to get up. if you had to guess, an hour had passed by since you had woken up last.

"thirty more minutes..."

you felt jeonghan kiss your forehead before he got up and quietly left the room. you fell back asleep for awhile until you actually woke up. you heard sizzling from the kitchen and could smell the food that jeonghan was cooking.

you finally woke up and dragged yourself out of the bedroom. you walked into the kitchen and found jeonghan at the stovetop.

"i'm still sleepy," you mumbled, still evidently tired. jeonghan peeked back to look at you and turned back while you sat down at the kitchen table.

"that makes both of us," jeonghan said to you while grabbing a seasoning from the counter. "do you want tea?"

"oh, that sounds nice. i'll make it myself," you said and stood back up. "would you like some?" you asked him.

"sure," he replied.

you grabbed some tea bags from a small box on the counter and opened a cabinet to grab two mugs. you grabbed the electric kettle and turned it on. it was already filled with water, so you just had to wait for the water to heat up.

jeonghan poured soup into two bowls for both of you. he brought the bowls to the table before opening the fridge, looking for side dishes. you glanced at the stove, making sure it was off.

after the kettle stopped heating up the water inside, you poured water into each mug. after placing the kettle back down, you added the tea bags in and wrapped the string on the tea bags around the handles of the mugs in attempt to stop them from falling into the tea. while doing that, jeonghan had opened some containers with side dishes and placed them on the table.

you brought the mugs to the table and placed one near jeonghan. "thank you," he said to you as you sat down. you hummed back at him in response.

you sat down across from him while he started digging into his food. you started staring at him while waiting for the soup to cool down a bit more.

"you know, it's nice waking up to seeing your handsome face," you said to jeonghan, making him chuckle.

"well, i'm glad i can make you happy with just my face," he said to you. "you're pretty cute yourself," he complimented you, "my pretty girl just drooling on the—"

"hey! i wasn't drooling!" you suddenly shouted, interrupting his sentence.

"no, i think i saw a little. it probably dried up when you woke up," he said to you in between laughing.

"yoon jeonghan!"

he picked up his mug and took a sip, "that's my name, and i will continue teasing you for the rest of our lives," he said, leaving you groaning at him.

you sighed while picking up your spoon, "i shouldn't be surprised by that statement..."
