"yea, it's usually like this," he mentioned. "if they ask questions, you can answer them if you want to, but i bet most of them are gonna be about us dating," he added, knowing that you were nervous about your relationship going public. you nodded your head.

flashes from cameras kept going off as you and seungcheol were getting your pictures taken by the press who were present. a staff member guided you every so often to continue on.

"you okay?" seungcheol asked as you two walked a bit to the next spot.

"mhm, it's just really bright," you said with a slight smile in order to reassure him.

he smiled back at you, "don't worry. i'm not used to it either," he said to reassure you. "it won't last this long though."

"you okay?" seungcheol asked you again. you nodded and kissed his cheek. "good," he smiled and kissed your forehead.

"aren't you supposed to save the affection for the cameras?"

you saw jeonghan standing with the8 and dino.

"i'd prefer if it wasn't on camera," you replied and both of you approached them.

"where's everyone else?" seungcheol asked.

"they're already sitting down. we were waiting for you guys," jeonghan answered.

"the press sure liked seeing you guys more than us," dino commented, "but noona does look really pretty."

you looked down at your dress for a second before looking back up and shrugging your shoulders, "i tried."

"let's go sit," the8 said, "i think hyung said they want photos of us in there," he added, mentioning their manager.

you guys walked inside the venue, going through the path for celebrities (despite you just being a guest). you reached the rest of the guys who were sitting together.

"hi y/n!" seungkwan greeted while s.coups helped you up to where they were.

"hi," you smiled and sat down next to seungcheol and joshua. "the press can't come up here, right?" you asked your boyfriend.

he nodded, "yea, they can't," he answered, "but people in the audience over there can probably get decent shots of us," he mentioned. you nodded, "don't worry, you look cute."

you rolled your eyes, "are you gonna be like this the whole night?"

"what else am i supposed to do? i rather stare at your pretty face than listen to this award show," he said and held your hand. "plus, i gotta show off when the cameras are on us."

"i'm hiding when they appear."

"good luck with that," he replied and kissed your cheek.

and of course, fans got the shot of him kissing you and it went viral overnight.
