"y/n?" woozi spoke when he entered your shared home and noticed that the lights were still on, "baby, you awake?" he asked but received no response.

he took his shoes off and walked into the living room, where he found you on the couch fast asleep. he took his jacket off and threw it onto the nearby recliner before taking a seat next to you on the couch.

"y/n, wake up," he said to you while shaking you.

"i'm awake," you spoke despite it seeming like you were asleep.

"no, you're not. come on, let's get you to bed. you can't sleep on the couch again. your neck and back are going to hate you," he said to you. "were you studying?" he asked, noticing all of the papers on the coffee table.

you yawned and opened your eyes. you sat up and nodded your head. woozi brushed his hand through your hair and kissed your forehead.

"i guess we're both working overtime, hm?" he asked as you leaned against him, wrapping your arms around him. you nodded your head again. "studying can wait till tomorrow. let's go to bed," he said to you.

"another hour," you requested.

"you're just going to fall asleep again. this can wait," he said to you. "come on," he said and stood up, pulling you up with him. "doctor l/n, you can't stay up so late anymore, okay?"

"not a doctor yet," you corrected him even though he knew.

"come on, let's go, baby," he said to you and held your hand as he led you to your bedroom. you plopped down on the bed while woozi grabbed some clothes. "i'm gonna shower. go ahead and sleep, okay?" he said before kissing your forehead.

"mhm," you replied and immediately fell back onto the bed. you heard woozi chuckle a bit before going into the bathroom.

once woozi came back out, he noticed you still in the same position on the bed. he shook his head before lifting you up and putting you underneath the blanket. then, he dried his hair a bit with his towel before climbing into bed next to you.

"doctor l/n, sleep well," he said to you before turning the lamp off.
