forty-three: a message for tokito

DEAR MUICHIRO,

it has now been 63 days since muzan kibutsuji was defeated. it has now been 31 days since i awoke from my long rest. you have now been resting for 63 days.

today, i took franklin for a walk. i think he enjoyed it, considering he tried to chase every bird he saw. he even barked when grass rustled!

watari-san just got engaged! i told her how happy i was for her. she says that she loves her fiance very much. i told her that she can go live with him, and stop being my assisstant, but she just shook it off. then i told her that her fiance can move in too, and she got very excited. she says he's a very nice man, and that he also likes animals a lot. she says that she thinks i will get along with him, and i think so too. he sounds like a very nice man.

suma-san is still mad that tengen-san won't get her pregnant. she hit him a few times, and he just said that maybe they can try in a year's time, once everyone has adjusted.

nezuko-chan also sewed me a new kimono! ever since she became human again, we are even better friends! i think it is because she can talk more now, and she can also do more things! like, she can sew again (her sewing is some of the most beautiful i have ever seen!!!) she can do her own hair, and she can cook with me!

the kimono is very pretty. it's light blue, with some white cloud patterns on it. the belt is a sort of teal-color, and nezuko used a yellow thread so the stitches are evident! it's so pretty.

it reminds me of you. sometimes, i cry when i wear it.

but, it's okay! because you'll wake up soon, and i can start wearing it all the time without crying!

nezuko put her hair in braids a few days ago. i didn't want to make her feel bad, but i kept crying when she left. i miss mitsuri so much. sometimes, i feel like i still hear her when i'm tending to my flowers.

i miss them all. i miss all of them so much.

sanemi-san and i have started to bond more. he lost a little sibling, and i lost a bigger sibling, so i suppose it makes sense.

his bug still scares me though, and he likes to chase me with it.

aoi-san and i have also been exercising your muscles. she says it's so they don't...

i forgot the word, but i believe it was "advocate". basically, it's so they don't shrivel up, and look all weird and stuff when you wake up. she said that if they do that, you won't be able to walk when you wake up. so i said, "no way!" because i want to walk with you through all the new flowers at your house. i know you're all moody and "grown-up", and you probably think flowers are silly.

but i've been without you for over two months! you have to do what i want to compensate for such a heinous crime!

you even missed my fifteenth birthday! i understand your body needs to do all sorts of healing, but it needs to hurry up!

i was just kidding. even if you have your long rest for a hundred years before you feel better, i'll wait for you.

i hope you can hear the stories i always read to you. lady aoi says that it's important to talk to you to "stimulate your mind". so i do it, and it also makes me happy.
